Description
We are a family of 3 living in a nice shared building, two-metro stations from Lille city-center! However, as nature-lovers we try to make our place as ecological as possible with a nice shared garden where we grow vegetables and trees! We also gather rainwater, have dry toilets and do many DIY! My boyfriend and I both work in the city and my boyfriends' son, who is 15, is with us part-time! We will be happy to share our daily life with you during your stay, and have some evening talks and walks, or playing board games if you are up to!

We are native French-speakers from Hauts-de-France region and fond of hiking, nature and cultural visits: we will be glad to share with you our favourite spots and spend some time with you during our free time! You will be welcome to have dinner with us, and kitchen and bathroom will be available at our place for your convenience. We are actually very curious persons and would be eager to learn from you and your country, to practice languages if you wish to, and to learn some for low-tech skills! On our side we can show you our urban dry toilets, organise a small soap-making workshop with us or cook together!

Aide
We will ask for little help with the garden (mowing the lawn, watering plants, weeding, sowing), maybe taking care of our cat Romeo or small services of our house everyday life (cooking, cleaning, picking-up some parcels, little DIY job or light tasks, getting groceries...).

Hébergement
You'll have your own room in a separate apartment, and warm shower and electricity will be available at our place, located few meters away in the same building.

Roméo is a fluffy grumpy cat: he loves quiet places! He enjoys being close to us but he does not want to be bothered during his sleep :)
