Description
We are a family with longstanding roots in the San Miguel area of El Salvador. We are currently developing a farm property and are especially in need of workaways that can serve as carpenter, electrician, as well as work with water systems and natural construction. We also run a hostal in San Miguel city,
Generally, we are looking for good people with positive energy who like to work. In exchange for your efforts, we are happy to offer you a dorm room with a shared bath and kitchen. We love our beautiful country and will love to share it with you!
The main tasks we have in mind are as follows:
Clean the hotel guest rooms: Change the linens, help with laundering the linens. Sweep and mop the floors. Clean the sink, toilet, shower, and mirrors.
Help manage the hotel common areas: Take out garbage and compost as needed. Sweep and mop the floors as needed. Clean the tables and counters as needed. Help checking in the guests.
Clean the farm land: Cut down and move large trees and brush, using a machete and other tools. Help cultivate a new cacao farm area and other plants and threes
Help develop the farm property: Help to build simple housing, horse stables, a water system, and other constructions using natural materials from a tropical area.

The workawayer will live in a Hostal in San Miguel and in the future in a little house like a cabaña, in a forest on our property.
The volunteer will receive breakfast and can use a kitchen to prepare other meals.
