  Greetings !
  
  Our setting is a house and garden in a town called Uckfield in East Sussex which is 1 hour train journey to the centre of London and half an hour to the Coast, where you can find the wonderful towns of Lewes, Brighton, Eastbourne and Hastings.
  
  The support needed is with my son, Tristan, - sometimes school work and also organising physical and creative activities with him. The help needed is for a few hours day after he comes home form school or weekends and School Holidays.
  
  Tristan has difficulties walking and balancing due to a medical complication at his birth, and needs support in getting from A to B and outdoors he often uses a wheel chair or a trike to get around. Despite some teenage-moodiness and laziness most would describe him as happy and intelligent with a general enthusiasm for life ..
  
  Visiting us you will learn more about working with children, about life in countryside-Britain and we would welcome to learn more from your own culture, language, background etc and talents and interests the that you come with.
  
  You will get reasonable pocket money.
  
  You have the option of attending English language classes at a local college in your spare time.
  
  It would be great if you would like to join us as a companion on outdoor activities / travel away from home.
  
  Artists and fitness instructors welcome!
  It might help to inspire Tristan with his developmental needs and ambitions such as music, drama, singing, self- expression etc.

  Bedroom with single/double bed in the house or house extension. Private shower and bathroom. Use of kitchen / living room / garden.
  
  Food - At least one meal per day provided or to prepare your own if you prefer.

  We live in a very tranquil setting with a big garden with a trampoline, swing, pond and more....
  
  ....... Close to the town center of Uckfield ...
  
  Free time can be spent exploring the near-by countryside and quaint English villages by bike or bus/train. Near-by pubs, parks and gym. The town - center is a 20 minute walk away with a train station which takes you in 90 min to the centre of London
  
  Brighton is a 40 minute bus ride from our house - a vibrant and exciting sea-side city...
  
  The ideal person would have experience and interest to support several of the areas we need help.
  I would expect an open-minded and flexible attitude and someone who is motivated, committed and reliable.
  
  Driving license desired but not essential.
  
  I would hope that anyone interested would be willing to stay for a minimum of 2 month - preferably longer. I am happy to negotiate an initial trail period to make sure both us Hosts and you Workawayers are happy with the exchange.
