My Mum and Dad are well educated, friendly folks who worked in the hospitality and care sector for a long time.

Looking for assistance from mature able bodied helpers who are willing to do some house work and gardening and offer some companionship to an older couple one of whom has restricted mobility.

My Mum and Dad are well educated, friendly folks who worked in the hospitality and care sector for a long time.

They are getting on in years now and are slowing down a little but their minds are still sharp. They enjoy writing poetry, they appreciate good food and love watching TV in the evenings.

My parents need help both inside and outside the house,
OUTSIDE:
Garden maintenance
Path clearing
Window washing
Power washing outside of house

INSIDE:
doing laundry,
washing dishes,
washing floors
other housework
Companion to an older lady who is a wheelchair user.

Sunday is family day and Workawayers are encouraged to organise a trip away or to rest in their room on this day.

Accommodation will be needed for close family members during the Christmas Period so we will be unable to host from mid-December through to Early January.

My folks live 6 miles from Sligo Town. Sligo is a beautiful coastal town where sea-surfing, mountain climbs and forest walks are strongly encouraged.
Train and bus services are a short car journey from the house and we will advise the Workawayer of the most interesting places to visit and explore in the North West of Ireland.
