Description
CURRENTLY looking for 1 person to join us for 1-3months to help with cleaning, organizing and maintanance 🤗🌻
🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱
We are an open-minded family with an ecological and spiritual outlook on life, living in a large house in the countryside. Currently the main mission is nature education for children. We are visited by several school groups of children planting their own gardens. We are inspired by Montessori and Permaculture. Our sheeps are therapy animals that visit kindergardens.
Day to day life consists of different housekeeping tasks, taking care of the animals (chickens, sheep) and the garden, some DIY and creative projects, cooking and cleaning, etc. We value positive people with enthusiasm for working independently on different things and who help keep surroundings tidy.
Spring can be muddy and many tasks involve dirt. Next in line we have the groundworks for more school gardens and building outdoor toilet for visitors. We are looking for helpers who are ok with physical tasks and even ejoy it! 💪 On a happy note needs to be mentioned we do plant a flower field 🌻🌱✨️
We often get together for lunchtime, and the rest of the meals are eaten by each of us as we feel best. Meaning: feel free to Cook, everything in the kitchen is available. The food is 100% vegetarian and we would like to keep it that way. We value each other's privacy, as after work it is necessary to disconnect and relax.
You will have your own room and the idea is that you have a say in work schedules. Workawaywers here keep track of their own weekly work hours, but we generally do not require work at certain time or such, because everyone has their own rythm and way of work. Animals do require timely care but house cleaning for example does not mind the clock - some of us work best early morning, others need quiet time to start the Day and thats just how it is. Some times we get in the work flow and do overhours effortlessly, at other times people need more time for themselves.
We work 5 days a week, 2 days off. 25h/week. If you prefer to work 8h one day and 2h another, thats fine by us. There are certain daily tasks but many other projects here are flexible.
The village where we live is a quiet town with several supermarkets. A small grocery shop 500m away and 2 bigger ones 2km . Helsinki is 40 minutes away by bus. The bus runs every half hour during the week and every hour on weekends. We are surrounded by lakes and beautiful forests to walk in, so if you like nature you will enjoy it!Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

After one day I already felt like a part of the family. Just to give one example of many many nice things that happened during my two weeks stay:
We celebrated my birthday with a one meter chocolate cake, a big birthday party with campfire and a little jam session.
