the Station provides workawayers with the sincerest Australian cultural exchange, treating travellers to the most traditional Aussie outback pastoral lifestyle. If they wish, volunteers will have the chance to learn from experienced station workers, the ways of mustering and working with cattle and how to thrive in the harsh Australian conditions. Hear of all the tales and adventures of station life while living with true Aussie jackaroos, and maybe even pick up a bit of the Aussie lingo. Get out and experience the numerous beautiful ranges on the station, including the Kennedy Ranges National Park, and get up close and personal with Australias wildlife and the station pets, including the house steer Neddy!

  • Aide

We are looking for help around our beautiful homestead, mainly in the kitchen and particularly during the mustering season of September to November. Help will include preparing lunches for the working men for the following day, cooking snacks for morning and afternoon teas and preparing dinner each night for 4 to 8 people. We also need help keeping the homestead clean and tidy and maintaining the garden. Volunteers will have unlimited access to the kitchen and very well stocked pantry, and we welcome all types of cuisine! If you're interested, you'll also have the option to get out and see the thrills of station operations, however volunteer work is only required around the homestead. You will fit right in as long as you can cook up a feed for hungry workers and make a good cup of tea!
