I'm Anna, 43 yo, working in Rome in an SMEs association; my husband, Tullio, is 48 and works as technician for the a building company; our son, Pietro Paolo, is 9 and is in the fourth year of primary school. We live in a small town Labico, located in the "Castelli romani" area, very close to Rome. We like sport, so alternately my husband and I are at the gym three days a week after work. You can join us, when you fancy it!

You could enjoy a beautiful and healthy living place, ideal both to live and to explore and do sport activities - being so close to many attractions - such as Castelli Romani, lakes, Rome itself, mountains. You could also experience countryside life, since we have a vegetable garden (so we mainly eat our vegetables), a nut field where we get wood for the winter, chickens and rooster (so we always have fresh biological eggs). Besides, I love cooking, so you could have may opportunities to learn about Italian food and to practice with me....if you like! My husband loves open air and gardening, so you can experience all kind of outdoor activities.

Aide
We are experiencing bilinguism (Italian-English) with our child. He attends primary school in the morning unitl 4 pm, so we are interested in hosting someone who can practice English with him when he's home. We usually are back from work at about 7 pm, so the workawayer could be required to look after him after school.

Hébergement
We live in an indipendent house, in the countryside, but very close to city centre, with a wide garden and a lot of "fresh air". We have a bedroom, with a large bed, tv, a big window, and a bathroom available for guests, where you can enjoy your privacy. The house is quite large and we try to keep it tidy and clean; we have a housekeeper coming once a week, but we'd really appreciate that you give your contribution in the daily housework, at least for your part (making bed, tidy up your room, washing up, laundry, don't mess up....) and that you respect the same rules as us (for example, we always take our shoes off when we come in, turn lights off when leaving a room, don't leave our clothes around....). As food is concerned, we always enjoy meal all together. Breakfast is very early in working days (but only for my husband and me, of course!) so you will find everything you need to arrange breakfast by yourself. The same in the weekend, if you prefer. In working days, we have lunch at work, so you will be free to arrange, while we always have dinner together at home not earlier that 20.30 and I usually prepare dinner for everybody. Glad if you join us but feel free! In the weekend routine is more relaxed and we can arrange whatever we prefer!

Being a small town, car is surely very useful! By the way, there's a bus stop just opposite and the train station is very close. You can get to Rome in about 30 minutes by train, while by bus it takes a little longer, but it's quite comfortable, If you have a driving licence, no problem in using my car, when available, and we'll be also happy to drive you when necessary.
