  Hi there,
  
  I moved to the lovely island of La Palma end of 2020 from Berlin, because I have a little daughter here.
  
  As the volcano was breaking out on La Palma westside around the time, it did not seem to be good timing back then to move here, but luckily I managed to find a beautiful terrain on the eastside of the island. On this side it is easier to grow plants, because there is more rain/wind and it does not get as dry in summer.
  
  The property has 3000m², 4 buildings and is terraced with many fruit trees: Avocado, Mango, Apple, Figs, Guava, Plums, a vineyard and many more... as well as some veg beets that need attention. A large part is removal of plants as things are growing fast here.
  
  Please note, that I have a rescued dog that can at first be quite territorial towards other pets. So unfortunately I won't be able to host your dog :/
  
  What I can offer is accommodation and food, depending the hours we agreed on and of course hopefully friendship and exchange if we work well together :)
  
  Please, please do not contact me if you are just looking for something free here without genuinely putting in the work for it. Clear communication is the key.
  
  Do not hesitate to ask anything but please give me some time to answer.
  
  Of course, there is quite some gardening going on but I need at least slightly experienced people that can help the garden and fruit trees as I wont be able to show you every step.
  
  As it is a very remote place, a driving license isn't required but strongly recommended.

  As I have only moved to this beautiful island about four years ago, I am learning many things about the plants here from friends that have been here longer. Depending on the time of the year, the tasks change a bit. In spring, there is a lot of clearing and planting in autumn a lot of harvesting. All in all a lot to do and a lot to learn.

  What I am looking for are honest and decent people that are willing to assist me with the many daily tasks around the property. Times may very but about 4-5 hrs daily.
  
  ... focus in 2026 is:
  
  - maintaining the garden - removing fast growing plants
  - planting and harvesting (digging holes, removing roots)
  - overall cleaning / maintanance
  - taking care of Kali the dog
  - shredding plats - working the compost
  - Pump the jam
  - clearing areas for re/planting
  - painting some walls

  Your room is comfortable has a double bed, its own kitchen and can be accessed seperately. .... ah, and ocean views :)

  The next supermarket is quite far away, however there is a busstation close by and it is fairly easy to hitchhike. There is plenty to see on this island, especially when you are into hiking.
