Description
Hello friends! We have a Family farm in Tlayacapan, a magical little corner in Morelos, close to the mountains. Here we try to live and work in harmony with nature. We have many fruit trees and a few vegetable gardens, and there`s also a small pond where we collect rainwater. There are rabbits, chickens, dogs, cats, and diverse wildlife in the surroundings.
Our idea is to make this farm as productive, organic, and sustainable as possible. For this reason, we are seeking volunteers who are eager to help develop and maintain this space. Whether you decide to stay just a few weeks or longer, you are very welcome, and we will do our best to offer you a productive, creative, and comfortable experience. I met great people and had unique experiences while doing workaway in France, Germany, and the Netherlands. I think it`s a great way to connect and make friends with local people.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

Echange culturel et opportunités d'apprendre
Volunteers have the opportunity to experience rural Mexican life. This village, recognised as a "Pueblo Mágico", is full of history, with its cobbled streets, an ancient monastery and vibrant traditions such as the Day of the Dead and local festivals. We are close to two impressive volcanoes, Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl, which not only make for a dreamlike landscape, but also invite you to hike or simply contemplate them as you go about your day. Here, you'll experience real Mexican culture: home-cooked meals with farm-fresh ingredients. We're a stone's throw from the mountains and a short drive from lively markets and artisan workshops, so you have the best of nature and tradition at your fingertips. In return, we would love to hear about your culture, your traditions or your ideas; maybe cook a dish from your country or share something you have learned about sustainability in other places. This is an exchange, a way to connect our way of living with yours.

We're looking for volunteers with a good vibe who want to get hands-on with the different projects and shores we have here. Here we will do a bit of everything: tend crops, feed the animals, do housekeeping, gardening, cooking, baking, or building or fixing something =) Sometimes we will work together, and sometimes on your own. From Monday to Friday, we start at 9 am and finish at 2:30 pm with a half-hour lunch break around noon. None of us here has breakfast, but before 9 am, you can serve yourself; there will always be coffee or tea, bread, and fruit available. Sometimes we will have dinner together, and sometimes you`ll have to dig into the fridge and help yourself. Our diet here is varied and composed of the 3 different food groups =). On Saturdays, there`s a small organic market where we sell groceries from our farm, and some of the cool people in town are our clients. You can join us. It is a good meeting point.

There are 2 available spaces where you can sleep, both inside the main house. one is a comfy sofa-bed in the studio downstairs next to a half bathroom, and the other one is upstairs, it is a private room with a great view. There are no proper stairs yet, so you`ll have to use a ladder, and the shower is also upstairs. In the photo section, I posted pics to give you a better idea.
Everything gets quiet here around midnight. Usually, I play music and sing for a couple of hours every night. feel free to join or wear some earplugs because sometimes I sing the same song over and over again. =)Autres infos...
In your free time, you can explore the charming little villages around us, visit some of the nearby pyramids or enjoy the rich restaurants in the area. Getting around is super easy: trucks pass right in front of the house and take you wherever you want to go. Mexico city is less than 2 hours away.
