  Description

  We‘re a young family of 5: our three kids are 4 years, 2 years and 9 months old, Martin (32) works as an agricultural economist doing research on meat consumption, global agricultural challenges and more, Lena (32) is a yoga teacher and primary school teacher but is currently doing mostly care work at home with the kids. We love being active outdoors (e.g. cycling), basketball, swimming,… we like pasta (and much more) and enjoy time together as a family. We live Waldorf inspired, are active food savers and live vegetarian (mostly- saved foods may not be always vegetarian). We live in a wonderful neighborhood in Bonn, where the kids play outside with each other and we enjoy shared barbecues.
  Martin and I have got lots of international cultural experiences as we both have lived abroad a lot (US, Italy, Korea, Ethiopia, Kenya,..) and traveled much. Our family language is German and the kids know German. However, you do not need to speak German (well) to live with us.

  Get to know every day life of a German Waldorf inspired family. We are located in Bonn, the city center and Köln are easy to reach- lots to do. Learn some German with us if you like.

  Aide

  We need help in and around the house and with the kids. Daily chores could include laundry, dishes, preparing meals, help cleaning,… according to your preferences and skills. As we‘ve just recently moved in, there’s also much to do in the little garden (we‘re dreaming of a little vegetable garden for next year). There are just typical everyday things to do like maintaining the kids bikes, repairing here and there. Our kids will also be very happy to play, craft, and just spend time. Let‘s talk and let us know how you could imagine helping us out.

  Hébergement

  You‘ll live in our most beautiful room- our spacious loft, furnished with a queen sized bed and a wardrobe. You’ll have your own bathroom with a shower. In the Loft, there’s also our kids little atelier and our office (which we hardly ever use and would never use whenever you’d want to hang out in your room).

  Autres infos...

  Visit Bonn and Köln (public transportation within 10 mins walk), go hiking in the siebengebirge, enjoy rhine river, public swimming pools in summer,… we do have spare bike that needs some fixes but once that is done, it is there for you to ride around. We have a small van as afamily car so if we go on trips together there’s a seat for you :-)
