Help me with learning German, while you can learn Italian and enjoy Italian culture in a village near Turin, Italy

  Description

  Ciao a tutti! My name is Marina. I am 62. I recently retired. I was a teacher in High Schools.
  My children are now in University and I live alone, or rather, I live with a dachshund dog. I have always loved traveling and now that I have much more time on my hands I would like to give someone the opportunity to live the Italian experience and learn the Italian language. I prefere to host female workaways.
  I love nature, animals and people. I believe in taking care of nature and resources. Even at home we can do our part: sorting, recycling, saving on light or water, i.e. avoiding long showers. I need to meet people who share these values of respect for life and nature, the biggest gifts we have had.
  I live in Piemonte, in the North of Italy, in a small village in the countryside, in a house with a small garden.
  The Piedmont Region is an interesting area to explore with historic towns, mountains and lakes nearby, or hills that are the paradise of food and wine.
  I prefere hosting women. No smokers.

  At the University I graduated in Italian language and literature, and I have always been a teacher. I can offer Italian lessons. I love learning about new people and their cultures and hope that you will learn from your stay our way of life and culture. I speak Italian, English and French. I'd like to improve German and Spanish.

  In the garden there is always something to do, especially in spring... I hope for help with gardening and small craft activities (e.g. painting fences), or help around the house.

  Hébergement

  Private room. Possibility of private bathrooom too (we have a laundry room which is fully equipped with toilet and shower. You could use them without sharing our toilet/shower). We'll share the kitchen. Above all you should maintain clean and tidy with normal daily routine your bedroom, your bath and the shared kitchen. I pay close attention to mutual respect and personal hygene.
  I mainly eat vegetables, but you can buy and cook yourself meat. I like having food together.
  I prefere hosting women. No smokers.

  Autres infos...

  The village where I live is really small, but you can easily reach many different places. One km far from home there is the bus station, in 10 min biking you can reach the train station. The nearest biggest city is Turin: a town full of historical buildings , museums (the second most important Egyptian museum in the world), churches, royal castles (here lived the italian kings in the past), turistic attractions and the beautiful riverside of Po river (the longest river in Italy). Around Turin you can reach the Reggia of Venaria (the summer residency of the Royal family in Versailles style). In two hours you can reach interesting spots such as Milano, the sea (Liguria) , France... There is the possibility to hike in the foothills of the Alps. In winter there is the opportunity to ski, in summer swimming lakes are close by.
