Description
We are a brand new Hostel in the center of San Cristobal de las Casas with a clear concept: Give to travelers the best choice between Comfort, Quality, Hospitality, and Price. Through our co-working space, we attract digital nomads and travelers who work online. The Hostel is Beautiful, full of natural light and spacious common areas.
Every week we have family dinners, movie nights, music jam sessions, and cozy evenings in front of our fireplace. Our guests and volunteers are united in a family community, we all like to go out together and explore San Cristobal.
We provide free breakfast for the guests and volunteers.
Free yoga classes every morning, art space, and the opportunity to organize your own art event.

Our volunteers will be part of a constantly growing community. Volunteering with us is a good opportunity to feel like you are being a part of the local life, learn about the culture of Chiapas and help others. We feed ourselves on the experience that each volunteer brings with him/her and we are also always keen to learn from everyone's special way of doing things. This is what helps us grow as a project, but also as human beings: each of us who take parts in it.
Aide
We are looking for guests who will be part of our family. We are really trying to build something special here at our hostel.
Our open positions:
- RECEPTIONIST (available right now!)
- YOGA TEACHER (available right now!)
-SOCIAL MEDIA (available right now!)
RECEPTIONIST INFO:
- Spanish and English are needed.
- You will work in a team of 4 volunteers
- Our schedule for the RECEPTION job is 3 days of work and 4 days off per week. We will ask you to work shifts of 7 hours a day, from 8am to 3pm or from 3pm to 10pm.
- We have plans to create a lot of events and projects in the community and we would ask for help with these. We would mainly need help with reception and preparation of rooms.
- Because of the community we are trying to create, we are REALLY giving priority to volunteers who can commit to more than a month. Please understand that we cannot work with volunteers who can stay less than a month and will not respond to such requests.
YOGA TEACHER:
- English is necessary, Spanish would be a good bonus
- Long-term commitment (1 months at least but longer stay will be preferred)
- We will ask to do free yoga classes for our guests every morning . One-hour class, starting at 9 or 10 a.m. The rest of the day is free !
- We are searching for a certified teacher, so please, be ready to provide your certificate
SOCIAL MEDIA:
We are looking for a Marketing Volunteer to help us showcase our hostel’s vibrant atmosphere! 🌿✨
🔹 Main Tasks:
📲 Manage Instagram:
Post at least one story per day (breakfast, activities, guests, etc.)
Be present at all organized activities to document them (you don’t have to stay the whole time but must produce content)
Interact with our community & respond to messages
Share one reel in collaboration from your own Instagram page
📸 Photography:
Produce at least 15 professional photos reflecting:
✅ Community: Guests enjoying activities & social moments
✅ Space: Common areas, coworking space, dorms, rooms
✅ Food: Breakfast, family dinners
💡 Our Vibe: We want to promote our space as a beautiful, clean, and inspiring place where people can connect, work remotely, enjoy good food, and occasionally party! 🌍🍽️🎉
