Description
Hi. Charlie and I are British and we moved here to San Martino in Pensilis from Brighton, England 3 years ago. We lived in our 5th wheel caravan while we built our house which we moved into in August this year. Set in 2 and a half acres with over a 100 Olive trees we have stunning views across the Adriatic Sea on one side and, on the other beautiful views of the Majella Mountains across in Abruzzo. We live here with our 3 dogs Betsy, Archie and Rossi. 2 of whom ,.are West Highland Terriers and the other an Abruzzese Pastoral Sheepdog.
It's very peaceful here, the sounds are the sounds of nature, dogs and donkeys. The rattle of the olive harvest machines and tractors. You can lay in a hammock and watch birds of prey soar above your head.
San Martino in Pensilis itself is a 10 minute walk from our gates, it's a very friendly place with bars, restaurants, shops a bank , chemists etc. I write a blog which will tell you more info on the town if you'd like to take a look -ask me for the link
Molise is a little known and small Region of Italy but it is full of welcoming warmth and beautiful scenery. Fabulous food and wine too.
Charlie is retired but works really hard on the land and on finishing the house. I work with him where I can. I also paint and love to cook. We are very much part of the community and enjoy life here very much. We love nature, being outdoors , good food and meeting people.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

English language.... if you're looking to improve conversational English. We do speak some Italian I am intermediate and Charlie almost. Charlie has been working with the Olive trees for 3 years now and we keep it pesticide free/organic so you can benefit from experience in the Olive grove, as there is always something to do. We are constantly learning ourselves too.
Life here in Molise is simple and tranquil. This is real Italy not a tourist hotspot however on days off we are easily accessible to Rome and Naples by train or bus. Termoli, Vasto Larino and Campobasso are our nearest larger towns.
San Martino has lots of bars and restaurants, little supermarkets , chemist and a bank.Aide
We are looking for help with the olive harvest starting in October.

It would be great to exchange Italian / English so both can improve on each others language We are also more than happy to help with English conversational skills without reciprocation of italian language.Hébergement
The accommodation is simple and the bedroom is small with a double bed, but clean, fresh and bright. Possibly a shared bathroom. There is also an area with a sofa that would mainly be just for you to relax in although you will also be welcome to relax in the main part of the house too.
I love to cook and believe it or not it's more than just edible... I know what is said about English cooking :-)) I cook all kinds of food British, Italian and Indian and more. I am Gluten free so I can provide good tasty gluten free food too if needed.
Breakfast is simple and you can help yourself. Lunch and Dinner we'll eat together as a family....just let me know that morning if you will be eating out just so I know how many I'm cooking for. Please let me know dietary requirements
No smoking or vaping inside the house please.
There is also a simple outdoor kitchen space if you ever wanted to cook something yourself.
We have an above ground pool which you are welcome to useAutres infos...
