Description
I would be very thankful to receive help with the springtime tidy up of our garden. I have a second hand pavillion. Your accommodation will be in a large apartment in the house which you will have to yourself or share with another workawayer. Separate bedrooms.
Ideal length of stay is one week but we can be flexible.
We are a small, easy-going, bilingual German/Irish family living near Heidelberg with a little dog. We've had many great Workaways over the last years help us out with everything from IT to painting and the experience has always been so rewarding.
I am a hobby musician and l am trying to learn how to use social media to promote our band - skills here would be a big bonus!
Staying with us would best suit people who are quite independent and intuitive :)

I am a qualified English language teacher and happy to help you improve your English if you like!
Some workaways have taken language courses in Heidelberg and/or joined local clubs. Our village is relaxed with an open air swimming pool in summer, walks, cycle paths and lots of nature.
I would love to play music with you!

There are lots of walking and cycling areas nearby. In summer there's an out door swimming pool just minutes away. You can have the use of a bicycle. Heidelberg is just 15 mins away by train.

Crystal was a wonderful Workawayer - very friendly and open. In the short time she stayed with us, she did a fantastic job of organising and sorting our music collection and she transformed the store cupboard into a really usable space! Valentina was a wonderful workawayer! We really enjoyed her cooking and when she cleans you feel like you've walked into a brand new house! She is really friendly and great with kids.
