  Description

  We are Mirella and Mosaab, we moved into a farmhouse, starting to create our new life project. We are in between Umbria and Tuscany, the beautiful medieval village of Città della Pieve is 1,5 km far from our place, immersed in the green countryside, made by green hills, olive trees and oak woods. We fell in love with this place, its people, views and atmospheres.
  With the help of our families and old and new friends we created a farmstay, a place where people can experience harmony and connection with nature, with ecological practices and approaches. We are recovering abandoned olive trees and producing biological olive oil, taking care of the land with natural practices and renovating some old structures. We have some animals: chickens, pigeons, cats and dogs (and soon the family will be growing!)
  We are looking for exchange experiences with new friends, people who wish to benefit from this environment and bring to us new energies and new perspectives, participating in our daily life and chores.

  we live in a wonderful place, where you can be in full contact with nature, yet at the same time you can go and explore beautiful towns and villages, reach Città della Pieve for a coffee and simply enjoy the lovely atmosphere of this medieval town.
  We will share time, food and our home, a place that we love and that we hope it will feel like home also for you.
  you can learn with us by helping together, and also the time and space for yourself can be very special, to explore, inside and outside, to create and be in harmony.

  Aide

  We would like help in the projects that we are carrying on, what exactly they are it depends on the period.
  We may be creating new lounge areas inside or outside, gardening, building a fence for animals, planting a vegetable garden, picking fruits and cooking, renovating some forniture, cleaning some areas etc etc....
  
  FEBRAURY: will be gardening season! We'll be dedicated to take care of the olive trees and other fruit trees. As it is winter time and the farmstay is closed for guests, we'll be mainly focused on the countryside, following the rhythm of nature and the sun light.
  The typical daily schedule for you will be:
  - breakfast by yourself (we experienced that people have different comfortable waking-up time, so we prefer that everybody is free to settle that and take the needed time in the morning). Food will be provided in your apartment.
  - 9.00 be ready to start working with us! we'll share with you the big picture of what we're doing and why, so that you can actively be part of it and we'll be committed to undertake the tasks. We will have to prune olive trees, cut the grass, move the branches that we cut to create natural fences etc. We'll always be open to share knowledge and to value your capabilities. Physical tasks may be tiring if you're not used to it, but spending time in nature is beautiful and beneficial as well. You'll always be in a positive environment where we help each other, that's out commitment, but please be aware that you'll have to get hour hands dirty and be equipped with adequate and comfortable clothing.
  if the weather will not allow us to do things outside, we'll undertake other tasks (cleaning, creating decorations for the rooms or the yoga hall etc etc). but be always ready to deal with the "outside" even if the weather is not great.
  - 12.00 break, we will eat a light lunch together (if the weather is nice we might as well remain outside)
  - 13.00 ready to continue!
  - 15.00 your free time starts! you'll be free to rest and have time for yourself to spend as you like.
  - 19.00 we have dinner together at our house. we'll share a hot and nourishing meal and we help each other tidying up.
  - 20.00- 20.30 goodnight! you'll have your evening time for you to spend as you like, by yourself or with other workawayers if there are.
  
  FREE DAYS: we expect you to handle your free days by yourself. We'll be ready to help you if you wish to go somewhere but you don't have the car, but be aware that we're not in a big city, public transport is not available in front of our house. There are some bus lines from Città della Pieve (which is reachable by walking 20 minutes, or we can drive you there) and in Chiusi-Chianciano Terme there is a train and bus station (we are available to drive you there and pick you up). In your free days we will not prepare lunch for you as we may be having different schedules from yours, but we will be happy to consider you at home for dinner, unless you plan differently of course.
  
  FOOD: we'll share with you what we have and what we regularly eat, which is mostly vegetarian (but we're not strictly vegetarian nor vegan). We try our best to provide a balanced diet but, please, if you have special needs or struggle to adapt, be ready to provide for your specific needs (by helping us cooking or if there's need of specific products to bring them with you). In the apartment there's the fridge and the place to store some food, so if you wish to get something for yourself, to enjoy at any time you wish or to cook in your in your free time / free days, you can totally do that. In Città della Pieve there are supermarkets.

  Hébergement

  we will host you in an independent and comfortable apartment, just in front of our house. It's a lovely place that we called "Pane e burro" (which means bread and butter) The place has 2 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a kitchen/lounge area and a terrace. The place can host up to 4 workawayers, there's the heating system, hot water and all the comforts of a house.
  You'll have the space to enjoy the peaceful environment and some time for yourself.
  
  INTERNET CONNECTION: we have the wi-fi but it's not a great speed. Please do not expect a super fast connection because there isn't. In the apartment the signal is very low and not reliable.

  In you free time you are very free to explore, or to stay and enjoy the green spaces, or whatever you may enjoy and wish.
