  Description

  Hey there dog loving travellers,
  
  in Hamburg we say "Moin,Moin" and the special charme and character of this unique northern city in Germany with its roots in the celtic and viking culture is something we really want to introduce you to.
  
  As three of the last true Hamburg original inhabitants we know this vibrant city with all its faces...from Reeperbahn over Schanze and Karoviertel - all is very close by to our home.
  Of course we found the perfect spot for our home, a single house with a nice garden and you will have your own cosy room :) ..its located just across a big part of the green lung Hamburg is also famous for, we have direct access to water ...for Kajaking, SUP and even swimming. And in the morning you can start with some running, walking, meditating or yoga in our forest called "Alstertal" in Hamburg.
  
  Our two wonderful shelter dogs "Sukhi"(7), a small white Maltese from, and "Spirit" (3) a big Border Collie Mix from Rumania will love to accompany you, since they know their forest by heart and meet many friends here every day.
  
  Playing is not so much of their business -but they love long walks and good company :)
  Both dog ladies are absolutely calm and sweet...they hardly ever bark and in the house they prefer their favourite places in mummys room to take long, long,long naps.

  Well, as a real "Hamburger Deern" I love Hamburg dearly and could tell you endlessly about its events, highlights, things to do and much more...therefore I am much more curious about what you are interested in, and I am sure we will create just the right mix of "Hamburg and surroundings for...(your name)".
  With my American father and my Scandinavian mother and also some gypsy genes, I love travelling myself and already hosted quite some travel friends in Hamburg - some of them haven't left and live in Hamburg by now...I think that says it all, right?!
  Living with my boys and me will be easy going, funny, vivid and very free at the same time. As typical teenagers they spend most of the time in school (daily until 4/5 pm!!) , outside with friends and sports or inside in front of their PS / screens. Common meals are rarely possible but from my side much appreciated (I haven't given up on that yet!) and I try at the weekends- so you are free to participate then.
  I like my house ( and my people!!) clean and tidy but I am not sterile or "Monk" (serie) about it...but somebody messy, sleazy, dirty hippie style wouldn't work for me.
  Of course any sort of drug in my house is another "no go".
  Also smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes and all the other "now so much more healthier" sh** has to stay out.
  Reliability and responsibility is key!!! And once I decide that you ARE both, many more doors will open up for you from my side...you know, it's a giving and taking - and it's all about balance - always & everywhere...

  In our house you will have small, simple but important tasks to keep the ball rolling...As a self employed single mum of two free spirited (but at the same time really nice, outgoing and independent) sons, Josh (18) and Sam (13), the two dogs and a camper van (hey, if you are REALLY nice I will even borrow it to you and you can make small trips...it's my gem, called "Pepe" and i did 6000 km with him thru Europe last summer ^^) ,
  I can always need a helping hand!
  
  Sometimes I have to get away for some days- then you would be in "full charge" : waking everybody up (= yelling thru the house), preparing breakfast (= turn on sandwich maker), checking that little one leaves house in time (="Sammy, you gotta go NOW").
  At around 8 o'clock you are almost free then :)
  
  Just take the dogs for a walk and plan for yourself what you want to do the rest of the day.
  Somewhen around early evening the preparation of one warm, simple meal for you (?) and the boys would be also necessary.
  
  As well as light jobs around the house, feeding dogs and starting washing machine, as well as dish washer and keeping an eye on all routines during the weekdays.
  
  While I am at home I will appreciate your support and whenever you and I feel like each others company...but we will discuss all this of course personally in details.
  
  So, who is me?? I am Kaja, the mum, the host and I was told very easy going and clear. As a yoga teacher I love to go with the flow and live in the here and now.
  
  About your accomodation: You will have your own cosy room in the souterrain and you share a big bathroom with the three of us (there is one more additional 1/2 bath) . We provide fastes internet for you to work or study or learn or netflix or...in the house. In walking distance you will find a bakery, supermarket, cafe´s, and much more. By underground (500 m away) you will reach all hot spots in Hamburg within a maximum of 25 minutes.

  Please speak English with my boys all the time!! In return I can teach you German ( I am a studied German / English teacher) in extra lessons if you want to...German can be fun and easy,believe me :)

  ok, once more. Your own private cozy, room awaits you. And yes, it is very clean and safe (very good neighbourhood).
  You will have some space in the fridge for your fancy, special items or if you want for all that you want to eat. Other we can share the main things (bread, butter, eggs..) ...I am fine with both - you decide.
  I like cooking but as a vegan (sometimes vegetarian) I prefer fixing vegan bowls for myself- but the boys eat meat and they love it!! So it would be obligatory that you are capable of preparing some easy meat dishes ( pasta bolognese, steak in the pan, meat balls, things like that) and know how to use main kitchen machines (mixer, sandwich maker, air fryer)

  Please be confident, authentic, a nature, dog, kids lover and a mature and reliable, trustworthy person who likes to take over some responsiblities. And if a yogic, spiritual lifestyle sounds interesting or even familiar to you- even better.
  
  Last not least the rules in my house:
  
  Simply be respectful and considerate - with us, the dogs, the things in the house, with noise and with resources such as electricity, heating and water.
  
  Awareness and thoughtfulness is something that is absolutely important and a big part of my life style...if you feel the same and if you are ready for a warm, friendly, light and supportive atmosphere in a beautiful house in wonderful Hamburg, we are happy and excited to receive your application,

  Well, we love animals and I am sure we can make some combinations work. My female dogs are more the afraid- of-male-dogs-types but if your doggie is cool, relaxed, chilled and friendly, it will work (nothing male- over-se*ed- alpha-dog-style, please!!!)
