We are a new non-profit organisation that works to convert a 700 trees orchard into an organic and community run orchard.It still is a budding project so there is a lot to be done, and a lot to imagine.
I am managing the production. I work most of the time but I sometimes play fiddle-tunes and old time music with the neighbours, where you are welcome to join. I also enjoy playing games, specially go and chess.

There's a whole community to meet, not right here at the orchard, but close (by gaspésie's standard !) I frequently visit my friends at St-Alexis (who are trying to start an "eco-village" sort of thing) and my other friends at the eco-anarchist learning ground. At the orchard, i'm more than happy to share the little knowledge i have about organic fruit production.
Most of the work to come is harvesting and cooking them apples (plus some plums and pears). There are also some DIY projects coming like the bat houses and the UV-LEDs moth trap.

The lodging is a camping ground with bathroom and shower about 4km from the orchard. The food is supplied but you will need to cook most of your meals. There's also a option to sleep in St-Alexis-de-matapédia (30min drive) at my friends' place who run an old hotel with plenty of room.
