Our family is made up of me ( a native English teacher), my daughters - 18 and 15,my grandson ( 15 months) and my son-in-law. We run a charity / homestay in Spain where we encourage children, who do not have the means to visit England, to live with us to learn the English culture and language. As a host family our students have the opportunity to swim in our pool, sleep in tents in our large garden and visit local sites. We host children from all over the world and we do lots of activities for local children throughout the year
We have many children from underprivileged families who don't have many socail skills or chances to advance in life so our aim is to make them feel loved and important for someone!. Thoe English for some of them is not so important as the love you give them!
For many of the children it is their first holiday!!

We need volunteers who want to help in our homestays and babysitting
We need a babysitter for a minimum of six months from september to speak english to two children -

We are looking for active teenagers and young people who want to spend weeks with us playing with other children and with the only requisite - that they speak English with them!!
Most of the vacancies are during June, July and August

The house has six bedrooms, a swimming pool, 2 hectars of garden.
The volunteer will share a bedroom or if the weather permits and they so want they can sleep in tents like some of the children.
We have 2 dogs which are in a seperate part of the garden and are not allowed in the house.
In their freetime the volunteers can take part in some of our excursions - prehistoric caves, attraction parks, Barcelona, Girona, trips to local towns or the beach at a reduced price.
Their is a bus within 2 minutes of the house to various places
