  Description

  We are a family of 4 and live in the beautiful Siegen Wittgenstein area near Winterberg.
  For almost 5 years we have been trying to convert our existing property bit by bit into a green oasis.
  With one or two setbacks, of course.
  I myself have tried to get the best possible results out of the ground by reading a lot and taking courses.
  Furthermore, we basically work without chemicals, with compost, terra preta and crop rotation. I'm still looking for better rainwater harvesting.
  We have had bees for some time, currently 3 colonies.
  Two years ago we had a good honey harvest, recorded with only 1 colony at that time.
  I would call us "alternative", a straight, circled garden, walled up, that's not our thing.
  We love to collect our own fruit, make jam from it and cook and bake it, collect tea, look for mushrooms and everything that nature has to offer.
  We like to spend our free time in bad weather with extended game evenings.
  For everyone who is completely new to the garden and co. Sector, our size is ideal for seeing and learning the basics. But of course experts are also welcome here, sometimes there is a certain kind of operational blindness and you make a lot of things unnecessarily difficult.
  In any case, I would like to build an outdoor barbecue area and I would like to have a clay oven for it.
  But then I have to rely on the professionals.
  Furthermore, I am desperately looking for someone who can plan and build a geodome with me.
  
  For all helpers there is something to do and learn here, I would like to teach the basics of keeping with my bees.
  
  In any case, there are still beds to be redesigned and new plants to be built, with which we can use every hand.
  Leisure activities are of course also taken care of, from hiking, Nordic walking, mountain biking as well as skiing and sledding in winter, our area offers a wide range to choose from.
  We have sufficient accommodation.

  Wir sind eine 4 köpfige Familie und wohnen im schönen Raum Siegen Wittgenstein in der Nähe von Winterberg.
  Seit knapp 6 Jahren versuchen wir unsere erworbene Bestandsimmobilie Stück für Stück zu einer grünen Oase umzuwandeln.
  Natürlich schon mit dem einen oder anderen Rückschlag.
  Ich selbst habe durch viel Lesen und Kurse in Permakultur versucht die bestmöglichen Ergebnisse aus dem Boden rauszuholen.
  Des weiteren arbeiten wir grundsätzlich ohne Chemie, mit Kompost, Terra Preta und Fruchtfolge. Ich bin immer noch auf der Suche, nach einer besseren Regenwassernutzung.
  Seit einiger Zeit besitzen wir Bienen, derzeit 3 Völker.
  Bereits vor 2 Jahren konnten wir eine gute Honigernte, damals mit nur 1 Volk verzeichnen.
  Ich würde uns schon als " alternativ " bezeichnen, ein geradlinig gezirkelter Garten, zugemauert, das ist nicht unser Ding.
  Wir lieben es eigenes Obst zusammeln, Marmelade daraus herstellen und zu Kochen und zu Backen.Ebenso Tee sammeln, Pilze suchen und alles ,was die Natur so bietet.
  Gerne verbringen wir unsere Freizeit bei schlechten Wetter mit ausgedehnten Spieleabenden.
  Für alle, die noch gänzlich neu auf dem Sektor Garten und Co.sind, bietet sich unsere Größe optimal zum Sehen und lernen von Grundlagen an. Aber natürlich sind hier auch Experten gern gesehen, manchmal setzt ja eine gewisse Art Betriebsblindheit ein und man macht sich vieles unnötig schwer.
  Auf jeden Fall möchte ich noch eine Outdoor -grillstelle bauen und gerne hätte ich dazu einen Lehmofen.
  Da bin ich aber auf die Profis angewiesen.
  Desweiteren suche ich händeringend jemand ,der mit mir zusammen ein Geodom planen und bauen kann.
  Durch 2 Workaway Gäste ist mir leider im negativen Sinn aufgefallen, dass eine essentielle Tagesplangestaltung unumgänglich ist. Das heisst in dem Zusammenhang, der Tag wird gemeinschaftlich begonnen und beendet, dafür sollte nach dem Frühstück eine kurze Besprechung stattfinden.Niemand ist hier willkommen, der auf unsere Kosten Urlaub machen will.
  Sportlich bietet die Region alles, ist aber natürlich bekannt durch grosse Wander und Skigebiete, Nordic Walking, Schwimmen und vieles mehr.
  
  Für alle Helfer ist hier etwas zu tun und zu lernen, gerne möchte ich mit meinem Bienen Grundlagen der Haltung vermitteln.

  In any case, our school English could be improved. The youngest will certainly benefit from a good knowledge of English and tutoring, as he will soon have his degree. Since we are very village-like here, it is perhaps interesting as a stark contrast to the big metropolis.
  
  
  Auf jeden Fall könnte unser Schulenglisch aufgebessert werden. Der Jüngste profitiert mit Sicherheit auch von guten Englischkenntnissen und Nachhilfe, da er bald Abschluss hat.Da Wir hier sehr dörflich gelegen sind, ist es vielleicht grade als krasser Gegensatz zur Grossmetropole interessant .

  Hébergement

  As already mentioned, 1 guest room for 1 bis 2 people each, depending on the situation. We like to cook, of course we cater to special meal requests. Initiative is also welcome. Everyone should feel comfortable, but we are unsuitable for cheap holidays.
  
  
  Wie schon erwähnt, 1 Gästezimmer und 1 Appartement für je 1/ ,2Personen, je nachdem.
  Bei uns wird gern gekocht, natürlich gehen wir auf spezielle Essenswünsche ein.Eigeninitiative ist auch gerne gesehen.Es sollte sich jeder wohlfühlen, aber für billigen Urlaub sind wir ungeeignet.

  Is actually already in the long text. You are welcome to bring equipment for the activities, currently we can provide 1 mountain bike. I only expect serious inquiries, please. I would really appreciate it if someone wanted to stay longer.
