As a former Workawayer myself, I am really happy that we are now able to host workawayers in our country. We have created an amazing Travelers Lodge in the beautiful region of Cappadocia, with a strong focus on welcoming guests in an international environment that promotes cultural exchange and personal growth.

In my experiences when traveling, I gained a deep appreciation for exploring new cultures. That's why I've made it a priority in our Travelers Lodge to foster a sense of community, where guests and staff can come together to share their experiences, learn from one another, and build lasting relationships. Our motto is experiences get better when shared with others and we do our best to make it happen!

We have about 5-10 paid staff members across our hospitality, bar and restaurant sections. They are all professionals who care to share their local knowledge, teach new skills and in return happy to receive some support with work and practice new languages!

With guests from all over the world, our lodge provides a unique opportunity for travelers to immerse themselves in the local culture, while offering their own skills and perspectives. In order to make everyones time worthwhile we, offer a range of cultural activities, including traditional Turkish music and dance performances, yoga, hiking ,featuring local cuisine, and guided tours of stunning Cappadocia.

By creating this environment, I hope to inspire a new generation of travelers who are passionate about exploring other places and connecting with people of different backgrounds. I believe that through this process, we can all learn from one another, broaden our perspectives, and build a more inclusive and understanding world.

Gaining new perspectives: Travelers can broaden their perspectives by learning about different customs, beliefs, and traditions. This can help them to develop a greater appreciation for diversity and become more empathetic and understanding of others.

Developing intercultural skills: Cultural exchange provides the opportunity to develop intercultural skills, such as communication, empathy, and adaptability. These skills are highly valued in today's globalized world and can benefit travelers in their personal and professional lives.

Making new connections: By connecting with people from different backgrounds, travelers can make new friendships and forge lasting relationships. This can provide a sense of community and support, both during their travels and beyond.

Learning new skills: Depending on the type of work they are doing, travelers may have the opportunity to learn new skills or gain experience in a new field. This can be a valuable asset in their future careers.
Aide
We welcome travelers who are willing to help us with a variety of tasks. We have a range of opportunities available, including:

Frontdesk: helping to greet guests, check them in and out, and provide assistance with any questions or concerns they may have.

Housekeeping: helping to clean and maintain the hotel rooms , including changing linens, tidying up common areas, and ensuring everything is clean and presentable for our guests.

Maintenance: helping with basic maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, and plumbing. Experience in these areas is a plus, but we are happy to provide training and support as needed.

Gardening: helping to maintain our outdoor spaces, including watering plants, weeding, and tending to our vegetable garden.

Social media: assisting with our social media presence by creating engaging content, taking photos, and interacting with guests online.

Activities: helping arrange activities around the region including with our daily yoga sessions.

We understand that everyone has different skills and interests, and we are happy to work with our Workawayers to find tasks that suit their strengths and preferences. We value the contributions of all our volunteers and believe that everyone has something unique to offer.

In exchange for their help, our Workawayers receive accommodation and meals, as well as the opportunity to immerse themselves in the local culture, learn new skills, and connect with people from all over the world. We believe that this exchange is mutually beneficial, and we are grateful for the contributions of our volunteers in helping us to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all our guests.
