Description
We are not able to accept any workawayer for the next months - we might be welcoming again in Spring 2025 but not before.

We homeschool our kids (6 and 9 years old) and are interested in people able to support us in taking care of the kids and supporting us with cooking and basic house chores.
Our kids are good fun and enjoy learning many different things. Whether you are passionate of maths, digeridoo, bushcraft, macrame, etc. they will be happy to learn new competencies. And if you are willing to share your language, that's even better.
We normally spend a few hours in the morning doing more formal learnings and then go on adventures or follow them on any creative projects they would have.
Some help with housework is also appreciated (cleaning, tidying up with the kids, cooking,...)
We live in the countryside in Switzerland. We have 2 lovely cats. There is a guest room for workawayers, a big garden, an orchard and nature is at the door.
We can welcome one or two workawayers, but they have to share a room.
We could also have other needs for skilled people like building a private website.

We are happy to share our culture and interests, lots of music in the house (piano, guitare, drums,... also available to workawayers), also happy to teach some French.

Hébergement
We live in a house in a small village in the Swiss countryside (near the town of Romont).
The house is surrounded by fields and the woods are 3 min walking.
There is a bus stop in the village (400m). There are buses during the day to the train station in Romont that is connected to the main regions of Switzerland. We also have electric bikes that we can lend (10min to the train station). We do not have a car and do most of our trip on bikes or public transport.

Lots of nature all around, lots of touristic sites to explore nearby. Lausanne, Bern and swiss Alps are all within about 1h/1h30 public transport from where we live. Fribourg is the nearest city (30min in public transport). The little town of Romont is 5km from where we live with all basic amenities.
