Description
Our family is easy going and loves spending time in nature. The mom of the house works full time as writer and administrator and the dad of the house is a student and agriculture professional. We are both double vaccinated. Our daughter is almost 4 and our son is almost 2 and they are currently in daycare, but we are tired of the constant illness that comes with exposure to other kids. Not only do we not like the risk of Covid, but when our kids are sick from daycare we need to miss work to look after them. We would very much prefer to have someone at home with the kids so we do not run into these problems. With both parents working full-time we could also use some help around the house with cleaning and preparing meals. We have a retriever dog that is excellent with the kids.

Our family enjoys exploring the mountains near our home. We spend our free time hunting, hiking, boating, fishing and gathering wild foods and would be happy to share these experiences with our guest.

We need help with childcare and housekeeping. We will pay individuals who have a work permit and are willing to commit to 4 plus months.

Hébergement
We are seeking a live-in aupair or nanny who can look after our two young kids and do housekeeping as well.
We have a room in our basement ready for our aupair that will provide some privacy away from the children on the top floor.
All basic groceries and meals will be supplied by us. You are welcome to eat dinner with the family. You will have dedicated space to keep your special food / snacks.
Autres infos...
On weekends our aupair would be welcome to go to our sister's place where they would be able to stay in a private cabin right on a lake with a hiking trail and a canoe. This would allow them to get some real time off from caring for our kids and to experience Canadian nature.
