  Description

  We have been living in our new home in the Steigerwald for about 7 years now, the house, outbuildings and garden (about 6000 sqm) are still in the design phase. i.e.......many construction sites We live voluntarily without public electricity with some solar and wind power, these systems are still under construction and need to be expanded.
  Our farmhouse is partly 300 years old and the newer part 100 years old. We try to renovate/refurbish it with natural building materials. Much has already happened.
  Vegetable self-sufficiency is important to us, the garden has many perennials and herbs, roses, etc., a total of around 500 different plants. Our own bread is regularly baked. We live very simply.
  A small fruit tree nursery is now available and some old fruit trees and beekeeping.
  If you are interested in unusual edible plants, you have come to the right place.
  10 chickens, two pairs of runner ducks, 3 cats and a tomcat live with us, plus 12 bee colonies.
  We mainly eat vegetarian food, using our own products whenever possible.
  At the moment there is a lot of work for the bees, a lot to mow, weed, cut trees, chopping work, renovation work, soon also to throw honey, renovate construction trailers....
  Please don't be alarmed, the whole thing can be managed with joy, and having a good time will not be forgotten.
  We live right next to the forest.

  Seit ca. 7 Jahren wohnen wir nun in unserem neuen Zuhause im Steigerwald, dessen Haus, Nebengebäude und Garten (ca. 6000 qm2) sich noch in der Gestaltungsphase befinden. d.h......viele Baustellen Wir leben freiwillig ohne öffentlichen Strom mit etwas Solar und Windstrom , auch diese Anlagen sind noch im Aufbau und müssen erweitert werden.
  Unser Bauernhaus ist zum Teil 300 Jahre alt und der neuere Teil 100 Jahre alt. Wir versuchen es mit natürlichen Baustoffen zu renovieren/ sanieren. Ein Großteil ist bereits geschehen.
  Gemüseselbstversorgung ist uns wichtig, der Garten hat viele Stauden und Kräuter, Rosen usw., insgesamt ca.500 verschiedene Pflanzen. Regelmäßig wird eigenes Brot gebacken. Wir leben sehr einfach .
  Eine kleine Obstbaumschule ist inzwischen vorhanden und einige alte Obstbäume und Imkerei.
  Wer sich für ungewöhnliche essbare Pflanzen interessiert ist hier an der richtigen Adresse,
  10 Hühner, zwei Laufentenpärchen, 3 Katzen und ein Kater leben mit uns, hinzu kommen 12 Bienenvölker.
  Wir ernähren uns hauptsächlich vegetarisch, möglichst mit eigenen Produkten.
  Zur Zeit ist viel Arbeit bei den Bienen, viel zu mähen,jäten, Bäume schneiden, Häckselarbeiten, Renovierungsarbeiten, bald auch Honig zu schleudern Bauwagen renovieren....
  Bitte erschreckt nicht, das Ganze ist mit Freude bewältigbar, es sich dabei gut gehen lassen wird nicht vergessen.
  Wir wohnen direkt am Wald.

  We live and work in a small farm / farm with beekeeping and small animals, where we run an organic self-sufficient garden with around 500 different plants and our own seed cultivation, based on the principle of permaculture / permanent culture.
  We want to show that it is possible to feed a population healthily and at the same time heal the planet. Take life into your own hands, with curiosity and openness to new things (getting to know projects, people and cultures and sharing what shapes us), whereby joie de vivre should not be neglected.
  
  Wir leben und arbeiten in einem kleinen Hof/Farm mit Imkerei und Kleintieren,wo wir einen Bio-Selbstversorgergarten betreiben mit ca. 500 verschiedenen Pflanzen und eigener Samenzucht,nach dem Prinzip der Permakultur/Permanentkultur.
  Wir möchten zeigen, dass es möglich ist, eine Bevölkerung gesund zu ernähren und gleichzeitig den Planeten zu heilen. Dabei das Leben selbst in die Hand nehmen, mit Neugier und Offenheit für Neues (Projekte,Menschen und Kulturen kennen lernen und teilen was uns prägt), wobei Lebensfreude nicht zu kurz kommen soll.

  In autumn there is always harvest work, collecting seeds and boiling some things as well as making winter wood.
  
  
  
  Bei der handwerklichen Hillfe kann sicher einiges gelernt werden.
  Im Herbst gibt es immer Erntearbeiten, Samen zu sammeln und einiges einzukochen sowie Winterholz machen.

  We eat together with our helpers. We eat organically, mostly vegetarian with home-baked bread. We eat about 3 meals a day, with lots of vegetables from the garden. Every now and then there are homemade cakes.
