  Description

  We love to be at home and take care of our property, it’s our sanctuary. Myself, husband and my son and daughter have all enjoyed to work together to build what we’ve created. We love the outdoors.
  I love to make our own food and prepare sourdough frequently.
  We have a pond the kids love to paddle boat on and kayak.
  Over the years we have expanded our gardens both vegetable and flower gardens and the work has built up. I would like to have some help to sew seeds, weed, mow the lawn and brambles, watering, and just general maintenance of the property. As well has small home improvements and responsibilities like cleaning, laundry and tidying.

  We love culture and the opportunity to share about different experiences is something we love. Also to expose our children 5 and 7 years old to more cultural dialogue and food is something I’m very passionate about.
  
  I love to garden and bake. I make a lot of sourdough and would love to teach if there is an interest. Or perhaps trade experiences if you are already well versed as it’s such an ever evolving art form. I’ve been gardening for many years now and continue to evolve and learn.
  
  My husband has a wealth of knowledge and experience and about trucks and heavy equipment. He is very creative and very helpful on projects to get the foundation organized and layed out.
  
  Our children are very involved with our little farm. We don’t have a tv or watch devices so their very present to all the exciting activists on our property.

  Aide

  You will be working around our property helping us garden, tend to animals, and simple house chores. Planting seeds, mulching, digging, pruning, cleaing chicken coop or tending to animal needs, mowing the lawn, cutting brambles, watering plants.
  
  Some house duties might be cleaning, help tidy, laundry.
  
  I will be working along side often as I enjoy working as a team but also some tasks maybe done solo too.

  We need to have an English speaking helper but I know a bit of Italian and Spanish. We love to learn more about languages, especially the children so we are open to always learn more.

  Hébergement

  We have a newly renovated cabin that we would share with you. It is private and has a full kitchen, bathroom, shower, it’s very comfortable. If for some reason that it is booked up we have a lovely room in our house that could be another option. Which then the bathroom would be shared with the kids.
  
  We would love to experience 2/3 times a week where the works way could prepare a dish for dinner which we would eat together and the other evening I will prepare.
  We will have breakfast together. We usually love a healthy oatmeal and lunches we can provide food for workaway or sometimes if it works we can make something and eat together.

  Autres infos...

  There are lots of beautiful trails around here. Also there is a river that is close by and is so beautiful for swimming.
  
  We can provide you with bike which is a great way to get around. Or to join along for trips to town. I drive almost everyday so there is always an opportunity if the work away needs to get somewhere.
  
  There is a rock climbing gym in town and so many amazing hikes and exploring opportunities.
  
  We do not want any form of smoking on our property and drugs will not be tolerated.
