  Description

  A couple required for the whole summer in helping clean holiday house and baby sitting and the other with some building/carpentry experience
  
  Shane and Tooti run a cattle and sheep farm on the beautiful Isle of Luing and have a letting cottage and a letting pod business - ask us for the websites. Since last on workaway both our son’s , Archie and Jack along with their wives Ebba and Emily and baby Saskia have come back to live on the Island .
  
  We also have 5 working Cockers ,1 Jack Russel , 3 horses and a pet baby goat, called Billy !
  
  Emily speaks good French and Ebba is Swedish. Tooti lived in Andorra skiing and chalet work for 7 winters and the south of France for 3 summers working on boats and both Shane and Tooti lived in Alberta, Canada for 1-2 years . Both Archie and Jack have worked in London and then Kenya for a couple of years . Em has worked all over Europe and Ebba is an engineer.
  
  Luing is one of the most beautiful destination in the world and being only 30 minutes south of Oban so is not too remote.

  Island living is a very special thing to experience, though we do have a ferry that runs every 30 minutes and takes 2 minutes to cross. We do quite a lot of boat stuff, be it work ( sheep to other Islands ) or BBQ's and beaching at the weekends. We quite often take the boat over to other Islands such as Mull and Jura.

  Aide

  We are looking for help with cleaning a holiday house - ask us for the website link . This is every Friday with help from another girl . And also we have a pod business and some baby sitting with Saskia who is 1 year old , very happy baby. Your renumeration is to be discussed privately depending on skills
  The second person has to have building skills and maybe help out on the farm occasionally.

  Hébergement

  We have a 2 bedroom static caravan with, sitting room , shower room and separate loo. We shall give you a budget to spend in the local shop and we have loads of our own meat in freezers.

  Autres infos...

  If you wish to make a trip to the islands, ferries run daily from Oban to Colonsay, Coll. Tiree , Mull and Iona. We also have a tent to lend anyone and loads of camping kit. We are very close to Glen Coe and all the beautiful Munros to climb ( a mountain over 3k above sea level, nothing to most Europeans !) such as Ben Nevis the highest mountain in the UK.
  We also have a couple of Kayaks to play with.
  
  Glasgow is a 2 1/2 hour trip on the train or bus and Edinburgh another hour on wards. There are normally friends driving up and down the whole time so a lift is not out of the question.
