Description
A 30 hectare rural area which contains an Agroflorest project. We are growing many types of organic fruits, and vegetables. It takes 45 minutes by car to the capital Fortaleza and 30 minutes by car to the sea. We love receiving people on our property and sharing experiences.The atmosphere is familiar we have a large house to welcome you in the best way we can.Right now we have 4-6 locally paid staff they work on our harvesting and plantation.
The work in the farm right now is focused on plating and growing native seedlings that we supply whith for reforestation companies.
I live with my family at the site; we moved here in 2024. We also have a caretaker, so there are two families living here.

The local population is very simple but very traditional from the interior with very strong northeastern cuisine,besides we love learning new ways of other cultures and new languages.

Hébergement
We had a house available for Workaway guests, but since we moved here, it is now occupied. We are building a new one, but it will take some time to be ready. In the meantime, we are offering tents for those who want to come. We recently hosted a couple in the tents, and they said it was great, although it can get a bit warm during the day. We have a large porch and hammocks that you can use as well! Next to the tents, there are two bathrooms, and the kitchen is nearby.
We produce organic food and the excedent may be availible for your consuption! We will provide food, and if you need anything specific, you can let us know.

In the village there is bus transportation to the nearest city and to Fortaleza, however the owner makes several trips coming and going to Fortaleza so there is an easier and more comfortable way to get to the farm. In addition, there are several beautiful beaches nearby as well as local communities that work with handicrafts typical of the region.

It was a very relaxing experience with nice people. Enio and his family lived in the house doing our time, witch was nice cause they helped with translating as we did not speak Portuguese.
The work was very nice and chill, good kitchen and nice fresh food.
