  Description

  We are a family that lives in Hamilton Ontario - the city of waterfalls with over 100 of them to explore. We’re less than an hour drive or train ride to downtown Toronto or even Niagara Falls. We live in a quiet neighborhood and enjoy baseball, trips to the beach and being out in nature. We have two dogs that are family and we need some help to make sure they’re comfortable and taken care of while we are away.

  Aide

  We're planning some travel this summer and beyond and we’re looking for a sitter to come, stay at our house and watch our two dogs for a week at a time. Responsibilities would include feeding, watering, loving and playing with our two fur babies. As well as walking them and generally keeping them happy. One is an Australian shepherd mix who loves to get out and explore as well as cuddle with teddies on the couch and our other is a chihuahua mix who sees his role as guardian of the house and loves to sit in the window or on your lap. They’re both great dogs. The first sit would be July 11-18 or a few days earlier can be arranged too and the second sit would be August 2-8th. There is also another opportunity in January if that’s interesting to you. One person does not need to do all sits but if you commit it would be for at least one week. Please reach out and let me know about you. There is parking and you’d have internet and access to the kitchen and living space and your own room. We do have a little garden and would ask you to tend to that as watering is needed.

  You'll have you own private bedroom with a bed and desk. I will provide all the linens and towels you'll need. While we’re away you can use the home and anything you need. We have many stores and restaurants within walking distance and there are buses available at the corner or space in the driveway to park your car. We have internet and tv as well for you to use.

  You're free to explore the city or take the train into Toronto to explore. We ask that no visitors to be brought back to the home for the comfort of our pets and our privacy. There's a bus stop within a 3 minute walk and you can get to most of the city.

  Ansel

  Ansel is our Australian Sheppard, red golden retriever mix he's 3 and loves walks, being pet and hanging out with people. He's got lots of energy and loves to get out on walks and then curl up on the couch for a nap. Ansel is a giant goof ball and keeps us laughing

  

  Brody

  Brody is our 5 year old chihuahua mix who loves cuddles and being wherever his favorite people are. He's a treat snob but loves teddy bears and blankets.
