  Description

  It is a beautiful 2 hectare farm with stunning views of Estrella Mountain and the surrounding valleys. We have here a drinking water spring , fire bath, bamboo forest, oak forest, a well, eco toilet, clay oven and a community event space called A Bolha (The Bubble) . We are off grid with solar panels and drink fresh water from the local spring. There is plenty of bamboo, olive trees, grapes, figs , pears, peaches and pine cones (pine nuts) to be harvested , worked with and enjoyed in different ways. I live here with 2 horses, 2 dogs, 2 rabbits and a cat. They are all the best of friends. I have had a steady run of volunteers to help out with all or any of the above as well as general land management , maintenance and gardening depending what the priorities are or weather permitting. We are surrounded by beautiful hikes and many rivers, river beaches, boulders, waterfalls and quartz crystals. There is a large cosy attic space for volunteers to have their own area and privacy , and for 3 hours a day, or 20 hours of support a week I offer full board including meals. The local community and villages are thriving with events, markets and a wide range of wholesome and alternative practices such as ecstatic dance or foraging walks.

Surrounded by mountains, rivers - a deep lush nature emersion. surrounded by traditional Portuguese farming families , learning how to all thrive as well as setting up a fully sustainable home and therapeutic nature connection retreat space. The vibe here in a few words is grateful, musical, spiritual , colourful , peaceful, dynamic, playful. If this sounds like your vibe reach out. I have travelled a lot and still love to learn more about this diverse planet. I have been a therapist for many years and I practice in many modalities including holistic integrative, sound and massage therapy, somatics , plant medicines and equine assisted.

  Some daily tasks with the animal routine - walks / feeds / poops
  Basic gardening and land clearing tasks - watering, olive harvest, fruit tree pruning , picking, raking

  TO STAY/SLEEPING AREA
  There is a very large cosy insulated attic space with a window. There are a number of almost private bays provided with a good mattress and plenty of bedding options . There is space for bags and extra stuff as well a few tables to sit at or a hammock to swing in
  FOOD expectations 🍕
  I will ask for any dietary requirements and preferences before shopping to fill the stocks and cupboards of food and drink to people’s liking. Then depending on habits and routines which we will discuss and plan for - we can take turns to do main shared meals and otherwise feed ourselves (breakfast / snacks)

  There is a bike available to use
  Closest village is 20 minute cycle

  I am happy to bring along to shops, markets, some events as well as occasionally drop off and collect from any local points of interest

  They followed me home and been with me since a month after I arrived here (3 years in Jan ‘26)
  She is boss bitch definitely in charge, very bright and clever and my shadow most of the time …
