  Description

  Hello, we are looking for an aupair for our two girls 4 years old and almost 1 year old. We live on a farm in Onundarfjordur, Iceland, just outside of the town Isafjordur. We have one dog that is mainly outside but no other animals.
  We are active and love doing outdoor activities.
  What we mostly need help with is our younger daughter that starts daycare in november and to help take care of the house while we are at work.
  The older daughter goes to school all day while we are at work.
  We speak both english and icelandic in the home.
  
  Our house is in a valley surrounded by mountains and we are a 12 min drive to Isafjordur, the next town.

  I am from Iceland and my husband is from America so we have both icelandic and american traditions in our house. Isafjordur has many social activities they could be apart of.
  
  The workawayer will be able to learn the Icelandic culture, since we live in the country there are a lot of opportunities for outdoor activies. In the middle of September we have a sheep roundup where we hike all the mountains in our fjord and herd the sheep down to be sorted to the correct farms where they will spend the winter. My father and brother have Icelandic horses less than 5km away from us so it is possible to ride them and learn about them as well.

  Own bedroom with a shared bathroom, there are two bathrooms with two showers in the house.
  
  We work during the day so we have breakfast and lunch there, Our older daughter goes to school where she gets breakfast and lunch also. So They would have to take care of breakfast and lunch by themselves but we cook dinner together.
  
  Food will be provided at all times, we live 12 minutes away from the grocery so we often make multiple trips per week. It would be nice if the workawayer would like to cook/prepare meals sometimes as well :)

  We have an outdoor dog that loves playing outside chasing birds around the farm, shes outside all day (Except in bad weather) and sleeps inside.
