From day 1 when Robbert arrived and he saw myself and my son cutting very long grass in our very large garden he came to assist us which was a great help.
This helping hand continued throughout his long stay with me.
I would highly recommend Robbert to any workaway hosts. He is trustworthy, helpful and caring.

I found Isadora a wonderful workaway guest happy energetic with a very positive outlook on life,inspirational willing to help at any task a very creative cook I enjoyed all the meals she prepared i would have no hesitation in recommending her to any host

I spent three weeks in Margaret's home and it was a beautiful experience.
Margaret is very energetic, fun and generous. There was always good food and the kitchen was available to cook whatever I wanted.
The space is spacious and very cozy. There is a beautiful beach nearby, where I was able to swim a lot.
Margaret is constantly welcoming

As for the work, you can do a lot of things for the garden, but they are simple and easy things that you can contribute to.
Or sometimes you can spend time playing soccer with Cody, his grandson.
I felt very comfortable and welcomed by Margaret.

Staying with Margaret was great! I spent one week with her, her grandson Cody and two other wonderful workwawayers and enjoyed this time a lot 🌞 Margaret is very caring and kind and has so much energy, I was really impressed by her elan. We helped in the garden, there are some apple trees and it was fun collecting the apples and baking apple
… read more crumble! We had the meals together and it was always delicious. We also had a lot of free time and we made beautiful trips in the afternoon to the sea near by. All in all I'm very happy with this experience, I felt home there for a week and will keep this time in good memory.

Margaret was an excellent host from the beginning of my stay, even before actually, to the end. She helped me figure out some complications with travel (due to a bus company not allowing pets, and I travel with my cat) beforehand.
While I stayed with her she was very kind and a lovely person in general. She was great to chat with about travel
… read more (she is a very adventurous traveler!), Ireland and it's history, and life.
The work in the house and garden were easy stuff (although there were a couple very stubborn weeds I struggled with pulling in the garden 😂) and a couple of the days were spent making apple butter (which is not at all difficult, just time consuming)
Margaret was very appreciative of and enthusiastic about my vegetarian cooking, which I greatly appreciate! 😁 I thought it was hilarious when she proudly told her family "I'm a vegetarian this week." 😂
She was also very helpful in driving me to, and picking me up from, the bus or train station when I needed to go somewhere.

I found Crystal very interesting also very helpful she went about her tasks in a quiet manner with great effort .Crystal motivated me to tackle my own long overdue tasks she also helped in the garden and made delicious apple butter and vegetarian meals which i miss

It was a pleasure hosting Daniela she waa very interesting and caring ,she helped me in the garden and cut a big hedge also helped in the kitchen and made a delicious Austrian meal
