  Description

  We are a small family with a 2 and a half year old daughter, moved to France from East London UK, to start a new life. Trying to be self sufficient using a micro holding of a hectare of land, a lot of positive thoughts and plans. We want to adopt a no dig method of growing our fruit, veg and herbs to have minimum impact on our land. A stream Le Seignal, meadows, woods and vineyards border our land. We are trying to restore an old farmhouse and we need all the help we can, with tiling, reconstruction, flooring and outside land.

  You could stay with us with full board that we will look after, enjoy French culture and way of life. We aren't isolated at all. The bastide town of Sainte-Foy-La-Grande is 5 minutes away (with its vibrant Saturday market). Bergerac is 30 minutes away. Bordeaux is an hour and 15 minutes away. Arcachon Bay is 2 hours away. We are 5 minutes away from the station at Sainte-Foy-La-Grande which connects Bordeaux to Sarlat in the Dordogne. Oh yes Sarlat and all the beautiful Dordogne villages at an hours drive away. So much to do and so much to see in Gironde also. My wife is French and our daughter now speaks French so you can practice French too!

  Aide

  We need people who can lay floor tiles, cut and help get our land in order, clean roof tiles. Our house requires a lot of work to get to a habitable state. So the work we are doing is to the inside and outside spaces
