The family, the dog, the house and the things to do, are like the profile indicates. I (David) have been there for around three months in summer. I mostly I made work around the house and gardening, took care of the little nice dog and planned/built a chickencoop-extension. I had my own private place where I could stay by my own. Also, I was

Even they are all very busy, I could always connect with them and have some nice talks and exchanges. Nicole showed me around, took me to a nice coffee, restaurant, concert and invited me for dinner. Sati taught me a about rugby, carpentry and boule. Fenja helped me with the chickencoop. The time there was running fast, and I treasured it much. The communication has been always respectful and nice. I would come back again. Moreover, I stay in contact with them. I wish them good luck, peace and health. Same counts for the new chickens… 😉Ce workawayer a choisi de garder privé son profil mais peut être contacté par les autres workawayers concernant ce feedback.

Bahri was the first workawayer we got to host and as so often we got really lucky. Bahri is very kind and helpful.
Our whole family was amazed by him, not just because of the great help he was to our family but also because of his warm-hearted character.
He helped us with gardening, driving our daughter to activities, cooking and more. In
… read more general he always saw where help was needed and often we didn’t even have to mention anything, out of instinct he would help us.
Above all of this, hosting Bahri was a great pleasure to us, because of his open-minded personality. We enjoyed talking with Bahri about God and the world, because he was truly interested in getting to know us and our culture. All in all, Bahri is amazing and we are grateful for everything he has done for us.
For sure, Bahri is already being missed here!
We are looking forward to seeing Bahri again and to welcome him not just as a workawayer, but as a friend of our family.

I don't know where and how I can start to write about my memories and experiences. It was my first Workaway experience and it couldn't have been better.
First of all, thank you so much for everything. The whole family members, "Nicole, Selahattin, Fenja, Mara and Rabea" you are so nice, warm, kind, respectful and generous.
I was welcomed and
… read more picked up by Selahattin at the airport. From that moment, when he gave me a big hug, I felt happy and met right and warm people.
At home, I was welcomed by Nicole. There are lots of things to say about her generosity and hospitality. She is so kind, generous, polite and a talented chef.
With Nicole's, Selahattin's and Fenja's hospitality, I felt like their family member in a few days.
I stayed in a big flat with own bathroom and kitchen. It is furnished with a pleasure. They let me use one of their car and all the bicycles.
The work was easy for me. I helped Selahattin at the backyard and on going teras project. I helped Nicole in the kitchen. She cooked us so delicious meals, nearly every dinner were like eating in a restaurant. Also sometimes we have eaten in the restaurant too. Nicole took me to "Thanh Thanh Curry" restaurant that serves Vietnamese and Thai specialities. And she took me Italian restaurant as well.
The breakfasts at the weekends, with all the family, were perfect and delicious in front of the incredible natural view.
And Fenja, she is a talented chef too. She is a powerful girl and has a big heart. Sometimes we have walked together at the fields with their so cute dog, Freddy. Sometimes we went to supermarkets to buy something else. It is a pleasure to know her.
We walked around the "Steinhudemeer" lake with Nicole and Selahattin.
Selahattin took me to his Petanque club and we have played Petanque with his friends.
People, from different countries and cultures, to become friends and make a good friendship in a short time, it's too impressive for me.
Not only every day, but also every minutes I enjoyed a lot being with Nicole and her family and in their warm home. I am very grateful for them.
I thank Nicole, Selahattin, Fenja, Mara, Rabea and Ricardo again too much for everything, that you have done for me.
Time is gone too fast with all of you.
I will miss all of you so much. And Freddy too.
I'm looking forward to see all of you again.Feedback
