Description
Family of 4, two kids of 18 and 8 years old. Mother and husband are both working. House with garden very close to the towncenter. Our teenager needs seriously to improve her english (priority for her studies) and her german (optional). The concept of workaway is great because it is not too "formal" like school and would be a great experience for all family. Our guest would be free to discover the area and improve his or her french language !

They could benefit to leave in the Jura Suisse, in a little city called Porrentruy, not far from Delemont the city of the Jura. It take one hour by train (or car) to go to Basel, one hour to Biel and France is only half an hour from where we leave.
They could improve their french, learn French culture..(because we are French as well).

Aide
The most important would be to have a guest who could help our 17 years old daughter and the family to speak and write in english. And then, as a guest, he or she could just help like any member of the family and also help in bring Émilien to school and also babysit from time to time.

I feel so blessed by the time I got to spend with this amazing family of four. They really treated me like i was one of their family members. Always went out of their way to make sure I was happy and comfortable. The mom,… read more Emmanuelle and I became good friends during my time there. We would often go running together, or she would join me on one of my workouts. The experience i got with them was exactly what i was hoping for when i thought about doing workaway, I got to experience the French culture (thats where they are originally from) so much because we spent a lot of time with their french friends and often visited France to see friends and family. Their friends and family are sooooo much fun and so sweet. I unfortunately don't speak French so there was a language burier there but Emmanuelle was so great about always translating for me and making sure I didn't feel left out. And the food! OMG the food lol she is such a great cook and so are all of her friends that we visited. I left there with a happy belly. and she is happy to teach you how to cook anything if you ask.
No one else in the family spoke much english so that made it a little difficult to connect with them but Mika, the husband is really eager to learn and is a good student. He listens wholeheartedly when you teach him and does a lot of self studying. Justine the daughter, didn't speak very much english at all but she did her best to try and communicate with me, often times we would almost be playing charades trying to get across what we wanted to say and we would both laugh about it. She was really nice and funny. Mimi is probably one of the cutest little boys I've ever seen and has such a sweetness about him. I felt bad that I wasnt able to teach them as much english as i would have liked and if you have teaching experience that would help you greatly in this position. but i tried to help out with the chores around the house and mostly in the kitchen just because i was so grateful for everything they did for me. I will always remember my experience with the Morini family and will cherish it forever. Thank you guys for everything you've done for me and spoiling me! you are the absolute best and i hope our paths cross again someday <3
