    Description

Hi, I am Antoine. I am from France and I work on everything related to resiliency and autonomy/ off-grid living.

The project aboard is to sail to farms, ecovillages, and communities to learn from them and help where we can. We aim is to be a sort of floating library and construct a comprehensive database of information, actively contribute to it, and share our resources with communities who we work with, as well as our online platform.

The boat is fully powered by renewable energy, supplied with unlimited fresh water (reverse osmosis desalination), internet (starlink), a 3d printer that can print from recycled materials, and soon, a hydropnic garden.

I'm also writing a book about how to live off-grid for cheap. I mainly focus on the following concepts:

    - permaculture
    - hydroponic system
    - natural medicine
    - renewable energy
    - water managment
    - recycling/ upcycling
    - biogas
    - natural products and much more...

Sometime we'll stay for a little while anchored somewhere and get involved in local projects that align with the mission. We've already helped a few local families, mostly small farms to develop their eco tourism buisnesses.

Right now we are finishing our boat refit in San Blas, Panama paradise on earth. Looking for help for the next few months.

I'll be happy to teach you to sail if you can help lift the anchor ! That is actully my job, when not working on other project I'm giving sailing lessons on board, teaching all there is to know about owning sailing and maintaining a sailboat.

I can also teach about freediving and spearfishing if interested.

I speak French as my native language, but I speak English and Spanish fluently. Some german...

This whole region is very interesting to explore. Portobelo especially has a very interesting culture and history, as well as San Blas, of course!

    Aide

On the boat, I mostly need help with:

    - cooking
    - social media work
    - online research about low-techs
    - video editing
    - help with general boat maintenance
    - canning or other types of food preservation (we don't have a fridge right now!)
    - you'll have the opportunity to help with ongoing, exciting projects like building a rainwater catcher and hydroponic garden, or helping fixing an outboard engine... on the boat, things always need to be repaired.

If we are at a farm/ community, we'll need help with general farm tasks, weeding, planting, watering...

  • Hébergement

    Hébergement

I have a 33 foot Wauquiez. The front room is available and completely private from the rest of the boat. I sleep in the main room normally, but the best place to sleep is outside under the stars :)
Unlimited fresh water, starlink internet connection, a bunch of little fans inside, no fridge, good food from local farms and fresh fish as i love to go spearfishing.
I'll show you how to use the dinghy, (the little boat we use to go from the boat to land).

I have available: speargun, paddleboard, fishing stuff, sailing dinghy, diving stuff, etc..

We can provide basic food (rice, beans, pasta, oatmeal...) you'll have to buy your own rum and fancy food if you want. Keep in mind that we don't currently have a fridge.
