Description
Stay with us in an Agriturismo in the beautiful hills of Piemonte (North Italy), and help look after our animals (2 horses, 1 dog, 5 cats and chickens) and garden. You will have your own apartment with a stunning view.
In the summer our place is a holiday accommodation, which our family started 16 years ago. We have 4 apartments and 8 safari tents. During your stay, the accommodation is closed for the winter (no work associated to the activity).
We are an international family.
My name is Yara and I live with my partner in one of the apartments on the property. I’m orginally from the Netherlands and moved to Italy at young age. My partner is half Italian, half Icelandic. My parents, also dutch, live in the main house.
My brother and his girlfriend (equadorian) live in Madrid.
Piemonte, north of Italy, is a beautiful place with lots of things to do. The landscape is beautiful but the region is known for its wines. You can do sports, walking, biking. The skislopes are 2 hours away and the beach just 50 minutes.
Visit also the nice Piedmontese villages and cities. You’ll fall in love!Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

Although having your own privacy we see each other on the property and can have some nice gettogethers.
We would like to exchange cultural experiences. I like to cook so I’m happy to teach to cook italian, we have a pizza oven for our own pizzas. I’d also like to learn other dishes from other countries myself.
You can also learn about wine and how this is made in Piedmont.
We love to go for walks and show the surroundings.
Also, visiting the surroundings and villages will be a great experience to get to know the real italian life and countryside.Aide
We are searching someone or a couple who has some affinity with animals. We have 2 horses, a dog, 5 cats and chickens. It would be great if you could support us taking care of them.
Also, the apartment where you will stay, as also the other apartments, are heated by a wood boiler, which needs to be filled a few times during the day.
We are also there, but support is appreciated.
Some days we would dedicate to a bit of gardening and weed removal or some ordering of the garage.
During your stay it might happen one time that there will be nobody at home for 5/7 days, where you will need to look after the house and animals every day (no free day, approx. 1 or 2 hours of work per day, between morning and afternoon).
The help will not be associated in any way with the business activities/holiday rental, as it is closed in winter time, and we have dedicated staff for this.Langues

We offer an apartment which normally in the summer is rented out as part of our holiday accommodation. It has a room with double bed, own kitchen and bathroom, and a small fireplace, which you can light in case the heating is not heating enough. You also have a small private terrace outside. You have enough privacy but still can enjoy some company with us.
You will have a kitchen to cook by yourself and also provide for your own groceries (excepts for the eggs from our chickens obviously).Autres infos...
The area of Piedmont is very nice. If you are a winelover, sporty or nature lover, you are in the right place. Bigger cities as Genua, Turin and Milan are 1,5h away.
Skiing slopes are 2 hours away, we sometimes go on day trips.
Transport:
A driving license (valid for italy/europe) is necessary, as it is a rural area, and public transport is very limited. A small supermarket is 5 minutes drive away, the bigger ones are at 15 minutes.
It’s recommended to have your own means of transportation. If you do not have so, we have an old Fiat bravo available, but it’s pretty old, windscreen wipers not working, and sometimes used by us. But it does its job ;)
From January to March there is a small possibility it might snow (does not happen for a few years now). If it does, we might be blocked in the house for 1/2 days. But the landscape and surroundings are really really lovely!! I really hope it does snow a bit this year.
No smoking in the apartments. No parties.Informations complémentaires

Normally the taking care of the horses is in the morning (before 9 am) and in the evening (around 5 pm). Internet is pretty stable in some places of the property. Might sometimes take an Italian siesta.
Espace pour garer des vans
We have a parking spot for campers, and a spacious shower and toilet at the back of the house with private access (in the summer used for the guests of the camping).
