Description
Hello travelers!
Come Join Us in Jambiani – Be Part of Our Eco Project!
Our eco-lodge is already up and running in the heart of beautiful Jambiani, Zanzibar. We’re not building from scratch anymore—this chapter is about nurturing what we’ve created: tending to the gardens, keeping the space clean and inspiring, welcoming guests with warmth, and maintaining the peaceful, creative atmosphere that makes this place special.
This isn’t a “hang out by the beach and do nothing” kind of gig. We’re looking for genuinely helpful people—especially those who know their way around tools, enjoy fixing things, and like to stay busy in a grounded, meaningful way. If you’re practical, proactive, and take pride in creating beauty and order, you’ll fit right in.
You’ll be helping out at our tiny house eco-lodge, just one minute from the beach in a lively, culture-rich village. The space mostly need cleaning and occasionally maintenance work if something break, so there’s no heavy work—a touch of maintenance here and there, greeting guests with a smile, helping out when we’re away, and maybe even jumping into some bnb marketing if that’s your thing. (Really appreciated to create content to attract visitors)
In return, you’ll stay for free in one of our charming tiny houses (normally rented for $40 a night), have access to the pool when we don’t have bookings, and enjoy plenty of free time to explore, relax, and experience Zanzibar at your own pace.
We ask for people who speak English, are responsible, and ideally able to stay for at least a month—three months is even better, as that’s the duration of the Tanzanian tourist visa.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

Jambiani is a mostly-Muslim village, and while the vibe is relaxed, cultural respect matters. In the village, dressing modestly is a nice way to show you care (shoulders and knees covered for women). On the beach, at our place, or in most resorts—you’re free to wear what you like. Alcohol should be kept to restaurants or tourist spots, and during Ramadan, please don’t eat or drink in public during the day.

I spent about a month and a half at Rose’s place, and it was a truly great experience.
I arrived during Ramadan, so the area was very quiet with almost no tourists around. However, the local community was incredibly kind — always smiling and ready to help. The first part… read more
