Description

In 2017 something magical happened : I moved (on my own) all the way from Brazil to Scotland!
I was 16 years old, and I didn't know anybody over there, and had no money saved to support myself.

Despite being in a foreign country of which I didn't speak the language of, getting a job with little experience and missing everyone I had ever known, nothing amazed me more than waking up every day to discover an unknown world.

Seven years have passed by and much changed along the way... I volunteered for a dogs and cats NGO and worked in a primary school. Then I ventured myself in hospitality for 4 years where I did many different things: housekeeping, waiting, meetings and events, chef, barista… I also did private tutoring and then a couple years ago I got my first Marketing job as a social media specialist.

As for other perks, I am also skilled in gardening. I can cook good food and I love learning new recipes.
During my free time I like to go for long walks, read big books, paint watercolours and watch good films and series.

But my favourite hobby of them all is travelling! Every year I travel to an average of 6 countries and I have been to almost all continents in the world.

And it was my passion for travelling that led me to join this beautiful workaway community.

I can't wait for the adventures yet to come and the people that I am yet to meet from here. And if you read all the way, I hope that one of those people will be you, and that we will together make many beautiful memories to share around a big bonfire one day :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I love caring for kids and animals, I am able to look after them with attention and love.

I am also able to cook an plan meals, I know many recipes including veggie dishes.

I have a green tumb! Working with plants bring me calm and teaches me patience.

I currently work as a social media manager so I would love to help out with marketing whenever possible!

I speak fluent Portuguese and English, but am also able to communicate in Spanish. I’m very interested in learn new languages and I’d love to teach what I know.
