I like to experience things that feel authentic and exciting. I like to be challenged, i like to laugh and I love spending time with people that are in touch with their passions and living true to themselves.

I feel like there is so much more to life than what we find in the conventional lifestyle. I love being in nature, doing stuff with my hands and working creatively with others.

I am a keen gardener, love to to cook and am interested in all creative arts.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Gardening. I have worked in a lot of gardening projects over the years and have done some gardening courses.

I am OK at labouring tasks like carpentry and and brick work. I used to do this work in my teens and 20s. If you give me clear instructions i will do this stuff well.

My undergraduate degree was in environmental science. I dont work with this any more but spent many years working in this sector and have a decent knowledge of the natural world. I am very keen to learn about permaculture in order to reconnect with this.

I currently work as a designer and researcher developing play and entertainment experiences for children. This is a very transferable skill set and can be applied to pretty much anything that involves trying understand why people feel the way they do about a particular experience or activity. I would love to try applying this skill in a community setting...

I currently have 2 projects sketched out that I would love to try and develop during my workaway experience.

One is a kind of sculptural project using old glass jars.

The other is a land restoration approach using bokashi and food waste.

I would love to try and bring either of these to life during my time in this workaway experience!
