Hello Leute!

I am originally from a small city in Mexico, but I have been residing for some time now in Guadalajara, Jalisco, one of the three biggest cities in the country. One of my current goals is to take better care of myself by prioritizing my physical and mental health, which can be a challenge in present times. As part of this, I have a strong desire to spend more time connecting with the natural environment; unfortunately, my fulltime job and the urbanization where I live makes it difficult to do so.

I believe myself a very curious person and a bit of an introvert, I prefer calm environments and don't participate much in social media. I enjoy spending time with animals and find it very interesting to get to know their personality, I am surprised to discover that they are capable of understanding more than we may realize. I am respectful of the diversity in our society, which may arise from gender, sexual orientation, race, cultural backgrounds, and disabilities.

The past few years have made me reflect, and I realize that it is time for me to step out of my comfort zone. On a very personal level, I've undergone changes, and I had to restructure myself, so I need to take a pause and reevaluate different aspects of my life. I know this sounds like a cliché, but perhaps it's part of being a human. I believe it would serve me to venture, take risks, have new experiences, and explore a little more of this world that we all share at this moment.

I consider that my English skills are fairly strong, as I acquired my TOEFL certificate several years ago. Recently, I set out to learn German, and I want to see how much I can pick up and improve my language skills through immersion. Being in an environment where people speak German on a daily basis would help me learn faster and in a more natural way.

I am eager to continue growing as a person and would greatly appreciate it if you give me the chance to assist you in any way that I can.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a background in architecture and specialized in industrial design; more recently, with the expansion of online education, I was able to study biotechnology. I am a fast learner, and I have always enjoyed learning new things about different topics. We live in a moment in time when a vast amount of knowledge is easily accessible to us, and I try to make the most of this facility. I have taught myself a variety of skills through the use of the internet, including the use of several software and even some basic programming.

I have primarily worked in the design department of furniture manufacturers, where I create blueprints for the furniture construction process, instruction manuals, and supervise quality and assembly. I have always appreciated cinematography, and I like to think that I am fairly good at taking photographs, as well as editing video. Lately, I have discovered a profound interest in science, and I would be truly keen on expanding my knowledge in related subjects.

I used to travel when I was younger but due to financial constraints, in the last decade I have not had the opportunity to travel much outside of my own country, but I hope to change this. There is a quote from Mark Twain that resonates with me because of his particular humor; “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.
