Description

Hi, my name is Vivien, 30 years old from a small village in Germany. I'm a very curious, energetic and open hearted person, constantly looking for new adventures on my journey through life.

I was in New Zealand and Australia on a Working Holiday visa when I was 18 and since then I have gone abroad several times every year. My longest trip of 2 years has been through South and Central America. I got to volunteer in a wild life rescue center in the Bolivian Amazon for a year. In Colombia I helped Venezuelan migrants who left their country in hope of a better life.

I'm really grateful to have the opportunity to travel, immerse incredible nature and learn from people of different cultures. In Workaway I see the great chance to get in touch with natives and see the real life with all its problems and beauty. Also it leaves the chance to give something back to the countries I visit. I'm especially interested to help in nature projects, with wildlife or children. I want to be part to make our world better. :-)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm not good in making a list of what I can do but I'm willing to do and help with EVERYTHING that needs to be done. :-)
From my previous experience I can say that I'm fast in learning new things. I'm ambitious, reliable and happy to work hard and get dirty. I will always give my 100%.

In previous volunteering I used to do lots of farm work, including: weeding, painting, cleaning and building things.

In Bolivia I worked as a Volunteer Coordinator and in the rehabilitation of Monkeys (Spider Monkeys, Capuchins and Squirrels) and Felines (Oncilla and Jaguar). I also learned to cook in big amounts for >20 people there.

In Germany I spent a year working in a kindergarten. Later I had some babysitting jobs. my favourite!!!

In my office job (I studied health economics) I used to work in project management. So planning and organising is something I'm really good in.
