Hello, I am an explorer of the world. I have been to lots of places, but many I have not.
I love to immerse myself and learn about other cultures, I am happy to get stuck in with anything and enjoy sharing tales with like-minded people. I like to be active, I am interested in animal care, eco-farming, sports and hiking.

I am currently seeking a significant lifestyle change and looking for a place to settle for the foreseeable future.

Over the past 17 years, I have traveled extensively for work, leisure, and volunteer opportunities, frequently using the Workaway platform. My experiences include working at animal sanctuaries, eco-farms, guesthouses, and Airbnbs.

Professionally, I have worked as a Tour Leader, leading long tours such as from Istanbul to Beijing. I hold a bus license and have experience driving trucks. I was previously an outdoor instructor, teaching sports, team building, and climbing, and I have worked with groups of both children and adults in all of my roles.

I also spent a year working in Iceland as an ice cave guide and super jeep driver, catering to international tourists.

My volunteer experiences with Workaway include:

A dog shelter in Kathmandu
An animal rescue and farm in Slovenia
A desert farm in Morocco
A hillside ranch in Mongolia
Cleaning Airbnbs and helping with the conservation of Giant Japanese Salamanders in Japan
Additionally, I have WWOOFed in Australia, where I learned about permaculture, planting, and composting.

I am an individual with a dog. Her name is Bella, and she is a Border Collie mix. I am comfortable living away from civilization and, in fact, prefer it.

Vikki was a great workayer. She could only stay a couple of weeks but she achieved a lot during that time and we wanted her to stay for longer!

Great attitude and can work well alone or as part of a small team. Throughly recommended.

I had a wonderful time, staying on the farm for 2 weeks with Umar. Umar has 3 sites.
