Description
I enjoy traveling and meeting people from all kinds and from all over the world. I also like learning new things, especially in growing vegetables and eco building. I find workaway as an amazing way of combining all of it.
I have a diverse range of interests, which include arts and culture, wellbeing, environment and sustainability, dance, improvisation and community development. I developed my professional career in the educational sector, in the cultural and artistic field and in the social services sector.
I have been a teacher for over 8 years. In primary schools I have taught dance classes working towards the development of creativity, social skills and an ability to express ideas through movement. At secondary level, I have delivered arts programmes that encourage children to take their own initiative working as a group in accordance with shared interests.
Whenever I can I like volunteering where I cultivate my interest for nature, organic farming and community projects.

I am able to help in the garden and do renovation work. As a teacher I love working with children and I have a vast experience with it. I worked in a hostel, restaurants and in the school front desk having experience in customer service, I also worked in cultural management and art projects.

Jane and Owen were super lovely hosts. The farm is beautiful, I enjoyed working in the garden and helping with some painting. The rooms are comfortable with nice views, great food and the jobs are fair. The beaches and surroundings are gorgeous and they kindly invited us to do fun things around. It was a pleasure to host Valeria for 2+ weeks. She quickly got to grips with the house routine and tasks, doing them diligently and requiring minimal supervision. I spent a bit more than two weeks in Swansea and I had a lovely time at Dan's house. He is very kind and thoughtful, making sure that everybody has what needed, he asks what we like to eat and there is plenty of protective clothes to work safely. We also went to local pubs and made plans around with some of his friends in beautiful Wales, loads of… read more

I spent a wonderful week in Feluy. It is a pretty village and Fançois was a really kind host. He cooked some traditional belgium dishes which were delicious!! Nice to have been able to see some of his talented work. Unfortunately I couldn't help as much as I'd have liked it, not enough time! I am grateful!

We enjoyed having Valeria to help us at the hostel. She is a great volunteer, very reliable, honest and not fussy about anything. She had no problem doing any tasks we asked her to do. She's also very independant and easy going, and fun! were very happy to have her and we whish you all the best for your next plans! Highly recommamded individual!

I have had an amazing experience in the hostel! The surroundings are just beautiful, there are many nice paths to do. The staff is very friendly, always the best from them! A big thanks for those couple of weeks!!
