Hello I'm T'keya (Tika) and I'm from BC Canada!
As a nature-lover and traveler, I am interested in understanding different ways of life while contributing to sustainable living practices. Work away is a wonderful place to meet inspired people who are taking action to make their ideas a reality. I would love to be a part of that process while I figure my own direction and purpose. My intention is to do my best, to embrace team work, and to have fun along the way!!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am quite interested in permaculture and sustainability. I would love to learn more about taking care of the land, edible plants in the area, carpentry and building, water systems, cooking, and any knowledge and gifts you may have to offer!

I have had wonderful experiences volunteering at Sri Lovely, an organic rice farm in Malaysia, in addition to farming experiences in BC.

I have some experience in carpentry, framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, welding and so on. Enthusiastically, I have a wood-burning kit I can travel with for artistic projects!

I also have some experience in massage, stretching, and taking care of the body, but there is always more to learn. I lead an athletic life and am passionate about clean and energizing eating practices.

Additionally, I love spending time with people of all ages and I enjoy hanging out with and caring for animals!

I learn quickly, I'm fit and able to do physical tasks, as well as tedious precise work. I'm neat and tidy and love making healthy food (Chocolate is healthy right ;) ) I'm also quite creative and enjoy opportunities to be artistic :) Above all else I really enjoy listening to people's stories and getting to know their silly sides!
