Hey ✨
We are Sophia and Timon (both 27 y/o), a couple from Germany.
We have recently decided to quit our jobs to travel through Spain for a while as we both felt in need of some new impressions and a change of routine.
At the moment, Timon is working as a programmer and Sophia is an occupational therapist.
We both do really like our jobs but still feel like there's so much more to life that we want to discover!
We're both learning spanish at the moment but are still far from being able to have real conversations, so we're reeaaally keen on improving our spanish skills!!
Both of us are true animal lovers, so we are living vegan and also love to play with and take care of animals!!
(By the way, we can enchant you with some amazingly delicious vegan meals!! :) )
Moreover, we both really enjoy being outside in nature e.g. to go for a hike or to just chill in the forest, at the ocean, in the mountains or in the garden!
Sophia also loves to be creative like painting, doing embroidery, knitting, baking ... and to do yoga, singing and dancing:)
And Timon is really into music, climbing, bouldering and board games.
When meeting new people, we like to connect with them on a deeper level aswell, being able to talk about our feelings and what's going on in the mind and body. Open and honest communication is really important to us.
Additionally, we're interested in a sustainable lifestyle and are always curious and eager to learn more about living a sustainable life for the environment and animals aswell as for humans:)
Furthermore, we both have some building and gardening skills but are really keen to improve them.
Anyways, we're generally very open to learn new things and skills to help where we can!
Sophia was already using workaway in many different countries and projects from 2018-2021 and always had great experiences. Timon is new to it, but really hooked by the many options and great stories he's heard!
We can't wait to get going and meet connect with you all! xx

I had such a great experience in my 5 weeks stay here (or maybe it was even longer?). It was beautiful connecting with other wwoofers, chilling in the common room, playing games and exploring the Taupo region.
There's so much you can do around Taupo and the area itself with the view over lake Taupo is stunning!

I'm so incredibly grateful for my experience here!
In the beginning I planned to stay about 3 or 4 weeks but in the end it's been almost 2 months.
