Description

Hello! My name is Stefan MacGovern, and I am an 18 year old high school graduate from York, ME. My passions/interests include traveling, sports, working out, nature, connecting with other people, music, the ocean, and more. I have played soccer and track for well over ten years, and I love being active, moving my body, and working hard. I am attending the University of Vermont in the fall of 2025, and am taking a gap year to travel and take part in programs such as workaway. I will soon be WWOOFing in Hawaii for two months, and am looking for accommodations for my next destination. I am interested in hosts that can accommodate for 1-2 months, although this time can be adjusted if necessary. Although I do not have a lot of farming experience, I am very willing and able to learn and apply myself, and I am excited for the opportunity to learn new skills and lifestyles. I do very well with working and interacting with other people, and I hope to experience new cultures and develop new connections while giving back to the community in a productive and sustainable way. Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am very good at working with others, collaborating welI, and learning new skills quickly. I am very active and enjoy moving my body, and am able to do strenuous activity. I was captain of both track and soccer teams in high school, and have multiple weeks of volunteering experience at summer camps. I love spending time and being around kids, and am very good at interacting/entertaining kids while keeping them safe. I worked for 4 years at a pizza shop where I had a number of different jobs including, working the oven, customer service, serving, prep work, and training new employees. My mom is a cut flower farmer, so I have been around gardening all my life and have picked up a few skills, as well as what I’ll learn from working on a farm in Hawaii for 2 months.
