Description
Hi! I'm Skye from Taiwan, I am currently on a work trip in Nancy France but will soon have some free time to travel around Europe. I've known about Workaway for awhile now and have always been interested in trying it out, but never had the proper time to do so. Luckily this time, I will soon have about a month's time free from work and so decided that this is my chance!
As of now, I work as a producer and editor for a huge Youtube channel in Taiwan, but I used to be the reception manager of a hostel. Because of my parents' job, I grew up living in many different countries and am trilingual in Chinese, French and English.
As opposed to what my current job would suggest, I'm actually a huge nature and animal lover and I'm very interested in spirituality. I practice Reiki healing and used to work as an animal whisperer (I communicate with pets and help their owners understand them better).
As for other interests, I sing and play the guitar, I enjoy reading and watching movies, I love exchanging travel stories with people and sharing my own culture. Taiwan is a greatly-underrated country and I'm hoping to let more people learn about it!

I learned a few years of Spanish when I was in high school and would love to pick it up again, but otherwise I'd also love to learn Italian! I can definitely teach English, Chinese or French as I'm fluent in all three.

When it comes to working, I'm known to be a fast learner and I adapt quickly to new environments (thanks to my childhood of moving around and changing countries to live in every 3 years). I am easy going, love having a good laugh and fun moments but I do work hard when it's needed, and I'm very independent.

- singing and playing guitar
- general translation, fluent in 3 languages (Chinese, English and French, basic German too)

- good with animals (used to do animal whispering i.e communicating with pets)
