Hi!

My name is Vlad, and I've been travelling in Asia for over a year. I'm passionate about education, sustainabe living, connecting with nature, art, music, yoga and hiking. As I travel, I would love to volunteer and make a positive difference to local communities.

I'm 29, born in Ukraine, but living in Ireland my whole life. I studied maths/physics in university, and then worked in research for over 4 years. I'm also an artist, musician, and have recently qualified as a yoga teacher.

The most important thing for me with work is to see the impact it's making. In particular, I'm looking for volunteering related to the following areas (these are where my passion lies, and where I can contribute most meaningfully):

- Anything education-related is great! I can help directly through teaching (English/Science/Maths), or through building of schools.
- Anything art-related. Painting murals for example. I have experience creating powerful art pieces, please message me for portfolio.
- Teaching yoga. I am a newly qualified instructor and would love to go deeper in this area.
- Anything music-related. I love to sing and play the guitar, and I love to play concerts and small acoustic sets. If there is any opportunity for this, please contact me!!!
- Anything related to nature preservation or sustainability is great! Like work on organic farms, or projects related to living more harmoniously with nature. I love working outdoors and am happy to do all sorts of manual labour.
- Any other projects that help the community or nature.

I'm very open to different types of work and projects, and I can work very hard when I can see the impact of my work. Please reach out to me with any ideas you might have - the list is by no means limited to what I've written!!

Currently I'm on what you might call a "career break", but with no immediate plans to return to my past life. I want to explore, diversify, try other types of work and alternative ways of living.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
- I worked on several organic farms, so have experience gardening, planting, picking fruit, taking care of plants, etc.
- I have also worked on a building site, laying down rocks, painting, a bit of carpentry and construction skills, etc.
- Language skills: fluent in English, Ukrainian, Russian and can help you to learn these languages.
- I can play guitar (I've been in many bands over the years) and also sing a bit.
- Have a good knowledge of maths and physics, from 4 years of studies at university level.
- I have artistic skills - I'm good at drawing, painting etc. this has been a hobby since childhood.
- Lastly, I'm a quick learner and if I don't know something I'm sure I'll pick it up pretty fast!

This hostel has a great vibe, you can just feel it! So many great people, that very quickly you feel that you are surrounded by friends.
