Description

I am motivated by and enjoy a variety of things. I like to spend a lot of time outdoors and in nature. I have been travelling in Central and South America for the past 5 months and my highlights have been my time spent surfing and hiking in the mountains. I also love to meet new people of all ages and learn new things about a wide variety of topics, from language to culture to history to science. In addition to being curious I love to teach and help others learn. I enjoy talking about my language (English) and I could spend countless hours teaching various sports to people. Overall I like to stay active and busy and meet new people!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I graduated from the University of Melbourne with my masters of mechanical engineering at the end of 2023 and I have accepted a job in Melbourne in the energy and climate industry starting in 2025. I have quite a strong academic background and I am passionate about sustainability and the environment. Additionally, for the past 3 years I have worked as a disability support worker which has involved a variety of activities with a range of kids (from age 12-18) with autism. I have thoroughly enjoyed my experiences and it has taught me a lot about gratitude, empathy and patience. Finally I played a lot of high level sports when I was growing up. I competed at a national level for tennis and also played competitive hockey and golf later on. In general I love to play all sports.

I have three sisters so I am used to a big family and understand the importance of respect and consideration. It also means I love to play games and partake in fun activities. I enjoy listening to music, learning instruments and learning how to dance. A fun fact is that I played the bagpipes (the song "Mull of Kintyre") at my sisters wedding last year.
