Description

My name is Siabh (rhymes with five) and I am from Ireland. I became a member of 'workaway' in hope to find some adventure and new experiences!
I have always loved animals and the outdoors. As a child and teenager I was very active in my local stables, helping out with yard work and riding the horses for about 10 years or so. I grew up in the countryside so green grass and wildlife is something I like to be around. I have always been one for an adventure. I am not afraid of hard work or to get my hands dirty (in fact I'd say I enjoy it). I love a challenge! I consider myself an outgoing and happy person. I am also a writer, and generally a creative person. So, I can enjoy solitude and time to think. I love to swim and be around water.
I am openminded and looking for the opportunity to experience somewhere new and be immersed in a new experience.
I am currently with a host in Northern BC but I hope to explore some more of Canada and experience new Workaway adventures in the next few months.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and Philosophy from University of Limerick.
I worked in service industry for about 7 years- waitressing, barista.
I worked at local stables as a teenager doing general yard work- mucking out, feeding, grooming exercising horses etc.
Volunteered in Orphanage in Belarus 2019.
I self published a mini poetry collection in 2022.
I spend my summers by the coast so I have experience in water- swimming, kayaking, surfing.
I can speak/understand a small amount of french.
