Description
We are two friends planning on travelling through Greatbritain from October to February and are looking for places to stay. Currently the both of us have finished highschool last June and are now doing a gap year before starting university. We are willing to help you with different kinds of work in order to learn about British culture in an affordable way. We would be very grateful for everyone taking us in!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
We are friendly, cheerful and open-minded people who do not hesitate to help out others. Also, we both have advanced english language skills which could be helpful when working with tourists or for our general communication. Other skills include good knowledge of gardening, cooking and general housework. Furthermore, we are experienced in working with children. The both of us are low-maintenance, creative and learn fast, so that we can take care of whatever you need us for in an orderly and reliable way.

We have lots of different interests and share quite a lot of them - we love being outdoors (especially going on long walks and hiking), reading, music and watching movies. Furthermore, Emily's hobbies are dancing, jogging and she can do wheel - gymnastics while Theresa can play the violin and has a passion for art.

Ben and April were my last stay in the UK after almost five month and I could not have asked for a better place than theirs to end my travels. It is a quiet peaceful place near the beach, so you can expect a lovely time in nature. Cornwall is very beautiful and I recommend going there.

Emily and Theresa stayed with us for 2 weeks in November. They are a cheerful and fun pair of teenagers and were a pleasure to have around. They have an exceptional level of english.

We stayed with Jem and Flo for two weeks in November and we had a great with them. They are very warmhearted and welcoming people and made it easy for us to feel comfortable. We stayed at the farm for about three weeks in January and had a wonderful time. We came to do a great variety of work including taking care of the animals, cleaning the polytunnels and gardening. I really enjoyed having Emily and Theresa to stay. Unfortunately for them I had returned to work and they had to get on some of the time on their own which they did well. We completed a variety of tasks together and they always were willing and had a smile on their faces. I hope they have gone on to other successful workaway experiences.

We had a wonderful time at the Buddhist Centre. The amazing and friendly community as well as the area itself contributed to a valuable experience. We never had a boring day, there were a lot of different chores to do and the days always went by fast. What a lovely pair of friends! Not only were they engaging but they were also very productive. Though young they were mature for their age. It was sad to see them go as they were so helpful and nice to have around. We wish them all the best for their next travels and studies at University.
